Approaching over 1000 women in real life, and barely getting laid, and becoming a joke on campus for acting alpha may have something to do with it...

Ruining every serious relationship due to applying TRP concepts when i 100% felt that i could have just been myself and it would have worked way better may be yet another factor...

Former RPW here. I grew up in a place that was prosperous and modern, but under the surface actually rather socially conservative and traditional.

Now there were of course the classic sexism/mysogyny and actually also misandry, the racism, the ethnicism, classism, etc. All those awfulness also created stoic, tough men at the top of the pyramid though.

My own dad happened to be such a man. Successful, stoic, women wanted him and men wanted to be him and to have what he has. He gave me such a feeling of safety and pride growing up that I thought I ought to find someone similar like him when I looked for a partner.

And when I moved to Western Europe, I did not run into such men anymore. Men in the West (I felt at that time), were too soft, not much emphasis being put into personal success, too afraid of confrontations, too afraid of possibility of hurting anyone. Not the kind of men I thought I could trust my safety into.

I run across TRP at some point. And wrongly thinking that I could find my stoic, strong and leader-like man there. And because I am a woman, I went into the woman 'wing' of RP.

Turned out to be I was so wrong. Men in RP are those same men who wanted to be my dad, wanting what he has, but in no way will probably able to be like him. Either because of their personality (many RPers are so deeply, deeply insecure men) or their upbringing (being raised by manipulative parents, so manipulation is all they know) or other factors.

I quitted RP after I realized that it is a deep pit where insecure men try to share tips on how mask their insecurities well enough until they caught their preys. They often called it breaking frames when their insecurities cannot be hidden anymore and happened to resurface, and it happened more often than they wanted to admit. One can only feel pity sometimes.

I realized it was damaging my relationships with women, whether romantic or platonic, and assumed ill intent from any woman. I started to loathe and hate them. I realized RP was just a cover up for the fact I hadn't healed from the abuse - sexual and emotional - that I had received from women, that RP was cult like, and that I had too many leader attributes inside of me to mindlessly follow another man's picture of what a "real man" should be. I've since came to create my own definition of healthy masculinity, healed from my trauma, forgave the women in my life, and now almost every woman I encounter now smiles at me or tries to touch me or talk to me despite being everything the RP says goes against what a "high value man" is - a working class, 5'6 guy that treats women with respect. I'm much more happy and want to have a platform for men to heal from our pain and grow into what we need to be and that we don't need to put down or hate our partners on this Earth - women - to achieve that.

I am not very informed on what RP is about. I have only been looking into it for about a week or so. The general impression being an outsider of this matter, I think RP is based on the assumption that there is very little genuine goodness and love in the world, and everyone is pretty much exploitative of each other. I think stepping away from that mentality most likely makes one a exredpiller (possibly).

There came a point when I realized that absolutely nothing I was doing was working at all. Despite "having it all figured out" the mindset was just not correlating to reality in any way. I realized I needed to slow down, be humble and start being more mindful. It didn't all change in a day, it took about two years. But the change came and I slowly started to change. Being more mindful in the meantime prevented me from saying stupid things to people that pushed them away.

I don't know if I was ever "red pill" because that isn't what it was called back then, but I definitely had a lot of the same shitty views as modern red pill types.

I'm not sure if a single thing pulled me out, just kind of changing over time and becoming a more positive and empathetic person. Having a bunch of negative views and judging entire demographics for things outside of their control is just a goofy way to live. I was kind of raised to be that way (in some ways, it's complicated) but then I grew up and wanted something better for myself.

Realizing that the RP, cherrypicks data, gives you the wrong impression about things and has an alt-right propaganda to it, shaming women, liberals, society, calling it blue-pilled.

I wasn't truly RP, but I would say stuff like "All women loved Chad and Tyrone" or "Im gonna score with that plate". I thought that Redpill would enlighten me, but it hasn't, it makes you a bitter and angry misogynist mad at the world.

I learned that not all women are bad people, and there's nothing wrong with women being sexual at all, and feminism is not a detriment to society.

People in these communities believe in conspiracy theories, but I hated women, I'm ashamed of this time in my life, I saw them only as an object, besides, the blackpill made me isolate myself for a whole year, I lost my I wanted to leave the house because I believed all that bullshit, it took me a while to detox from this crap and I still have some thoughts from time to time, I thought it was better for my mental health to get out of these communities

I was never really RPW, but I followed some RP media because there were a FEW ideas that I liked (some of the self-improvement things). I started to see more and more posts and content that were really gross against women. Depicting women as like... human beings that are not actually human beings? So like... men are the only actual humans and women need to change our personalities to whatever the man in our lives want (our fathers, brothers, etc)? I just kept seeing more and more stuff like that and less and less personal development stuff. Also started seeing weird conspiracy theories. So I'm pretty much divorced from anything RP. Especially these days, its a HUGE yikes.

I just liked the idea of learning ways to improve myself to better "fit in". I had no interest in all the other things.

I also started to feel really sorry for many of the RPers. It was a lot of low-self-esteem. People trying to OVERHAUL their entire persona... I just felt like... "You know... it's great to try to improve your communication skills and your appearance... but you also can like be yourself while you do that. You know?"

So here I am. Here to help.

I just simped hard on my first and only relationship. I grew up in a rural and broken invironment but with good Living standards(spoiled). There was drug abuse. Loneliness. Bad mental health and being on of the akward guys in class kind of made me angry and it was common to get bullied for being Virgin so that left me furoius because i Saw how easy it was for some guys to get laid. I just needed to understand the game, really. So when my relationship failed and i found MGTOW and other Groups and new gurus that was not PUA and learned the infamous Word “HYPERGAMY” i just kind of settled and fell into to other habits and understood and accepted my role in society and now i am just accepting Living alone and Can get by with a good life now that i am a welder. I was just so desperate and horny i could not sit still. I needed a purpose and i guess that i just ran into the first and cutest person i met on tinder and just tried to get as much experience, and sex as possible. Am i afraid for that i Might have shown traits of a sociopath and sexual predator? Yes but i was just really tryin to end loneliness. Something that in the beginning i thought was a curse laid upon me but now i Can just accept my role in this modern society and have learned to at least go out happy if i am going to be alone and childless. I hope that i Will get a relationship again. I just wanted to see if love was a real thing but i my opinion getting a girlfriend as a man today all comes Down to logistics, experience, wealth and status. That is what i see from a perspective of a guy that had and abusive mother. Loneliness is just really emotionel painfull for some persons. End rant.

What makes me an ex red piller is me not subscribing to their ideology anymore. There’s some truth in the things they say which is what caught my attention in the first place but once you dig deeper into the community you see that it’s riddled with groupthink, dogmatism and nihilism. Being exposed to this kind of stuff negatively effected my mental and emotional health, and it really didn’t jive with reality to me once I started to critically think more. It tries to apply a black and white lens to a gray topic which is intellectually disingenuous and the opposite of scientific, which is ironically what the community loves to preach.

The Red Pill rises good questions (VERY important ones, in fact), but doesn’t give promising solutions (except the “focus on yourself” one. That is good for anyone with low self esteem). It is only good for one’s mindset until page 2. It should be a movement questioning problems and doing activism towards solutions, not bashing on a whole gender and victimizing every man in the world (Huh, reminds me of feminism). Everything that’s too much, is not healthy.
