Funny coz i been in relationships with women in the west that usually cook worse than i do, but I find most of the time abroad not only do they cook amazing there, they also love to cook for their man, and its not considered oppression there.

I feel like "doing task X that either gender can do" is an extreme misnomer. We've seen that in the vast majority of circumstances, men are both happiest and most fulfilled slaving away at their profession to elevate (or sustain) the family's status, while women are happiest and most fulfilled executing the tasks that elevate (or support) the family's happiness

Men can housemake and Women can breadwin, and both can perform as well as the other, but we're biologically driven to want different lives, and when given a fair choice we'll pick those lives 9 times out of 10

Traditionally, a man provided the ideal circumstance for a woman to actualize "family life". Modern single men live in ideal but empty structures while modern single women struggle with either the chaos of single parenting or the regret of never giving birth at all. Obviously this is only sustainable with child support, snap & WIC giving modern women too many options for their own good, while also exonerating men from having to directly keep a household to make sure their children survive. After all, the kids won't starve with our without papa's attention to the finances, so both sexes treat the family unit as an option

Men and women are often unfulfilled in playing the opposite role. Men can cook and clean for the family but would rather not do it on a regular basis, more of a special event. Women can work themselves into an early grave just like men, but when given the choice revert to homemaking or less stressful part-time work. Part of why we have the generation of the least happy women in history is because 80% of women are the primary earners in their own households and can't stop or the lights and water get shut off. Women love working and having their own money, but they usually don't want to work hard jobs with long hours until they get injured, retire or die

I agree with that. Everyone should know how to cook or clean. As a woman i would not want to ever marry a man who can't cook or clean. Also, are we forgetting that some of the top chefs in the world are men? Surely it's not only women that can cook. It's a learned skill.
