I am set to receive an 8% bonus (15K) in January 2025. My sbtx and I will be filing in Jan/Feb. Should I ask my employer to hold on to the bonus and pay me later in order to keep my income a bit lower and consistent for Alimony/CS? Rather than take it in January and have to add that in to my side of equations?
