I’m at the very beginning of a divorce and my wife has sent a divorce agreement stating that the grounds for divorce is “lying about participating in illegal activity on 2 counts”. I’m wondering what the repercussions could be. The rest of the divorce has been amicable, we’ve agreed on child support and custody. I fucked up and did the thing I told her I would never do but it’s not the only reason for divorce. I have been unhappy in the marriage for a long time and it reached the point of no return. I would like her to change the wording of the grounds for divorce but she doesn’t want to. Any advice is appreciated.
