There's a longstanding idiom that goes with this: he gets married thinking she wont change, she gets married thinking he will. Inevitably both are disappointed.

Same boat, same time frame. For me once a party girl always a party girl. She actually got mad that I assumed once I put a ring on her finger she would stop flirting with other dudes. I was to dumb to leave after the first major violation. Stuck it out for another 14 years with violations every few years.
