In Arizona, HCBM very emotionally invested in COVID and LARPing as medical professional. However HCBM is just a data analyst excel user, zero medical training.

Recently HCBM has been keeping children 8 and 5 home from school for minor coughs with no fever. School requires COVID test every single time so it leads to extended absences.

Daughter gets cough and HCBM keeps daughter home from school 1 day.

My day comes and I take daughter to Pediatrician immediately, says daughter has croup, gives medicine, COVID negative test comes back and recommends return to school immediately. Doctor recommends Claritin for daughter stating that allergies may also be cause of cough.

Next day transfer HCBM keeps daughter out 2 school days and through weekend, no doctors visit despite claiming symptoms worse.

Fast forward, son develops minor cough, no fever. To preempt HCBM over reaction, I take son to urgent care, they say no sign of croup but give meds as precaution due to daughter prior diagnosis. Ped gives doctors note to return to school the next day on HCBMs day, recommends Claritin due to family history of seasonal allergies.

Fast forward, HCBM notified, absolutely furious, refuses to give Claritin, refuses to coordinate on treatment. Keeps son out of school the next day despite doctor recommending return. HCBM says she is making decision “as a public health steward” since she believes croup is contagious despite dr saying no sign of croup.

HCBM refuses to take steps to mitigate issue or coordinate care. Parenting plan says when medical disagreement occurs medical professional will be consulted. I consider the doctors to be those professionals.

Any recommended course of action? HCBM extreme narcissistic type, I suspect HCBM is fighting me on this because I have been prioritizing school. HCBM also dislikes new school.

Hoping there might be good course to take custody.
