How many of you were encouraged to hate men in your marriage?

After going through this process that I didn’t ask for, I feel a certain level of solidarity with other men now that I truly never got to experience in my previous life because “men are awful” and “fuck the patriarchy.”

This saddens me because of how much value I am starting to see in us now - not even against, or in competition with, women at all, but just as a basic love and appreciation for who we are and what we bring to the table in terms of relationships and society.

I don’t know. Just musing today, but genuinely curious if you had the same experience and what you have come to appreciate more about us, and about yourself, as men.
