I think it all boils down to how well you get along with your ex. My ex is hostile and disagreeable in every way possible. I'm sure if I sent a proxy to pick up the kids (even if it's someone I trust), she would say, "I'm not handing the kids over to a stranger!"

Or, just to be a bitch, she'd say the proxy was drunk or angry or creepy or whatever.

For some people, it's all about power.

As long as the caregiver gets your kid there on time, and your ex is cool, why would there be a problem? Is there any specific language in the custody order?

you can do what ever you want on your time once it’s in the stipulation.
