Recently divorced and doing 2-2-5-5 until the kids finish school. However, starting in the fall my kids will start going to school near my ex wife’s house which is 50 mins away. Not sure what to do as this will make things much more difficult logistically for me. Just looking for advice or ways to work with this somehow. I was thinking I might have to switch to some type of alternating weekend schedule and maybe a weekday visit after school (not overnight). Just would be horrible to have to see them less. She offered to meet halfway but would still be a burden on the kids to be in the car so much.
