I kinda just idk “exist” when it’s just me and my pup. When I see my son I “live” or feel “alive” because I’m doing what I wanted to do and be which is a father. It does feel incomplete though at the same time though because I miss that coming home to your family dynamic I used to have and hope I can find that again with someone who actually wants the whole family dynamic life style and doesn’t see it as a “ societal construct created by men to oppress women”

Ambivalence.

I miss my little girl when she isn't with me of course, but I don't mind her going back to Lucifer for half the week.

My boss was very accommodating in giving me a shift pattern that works around my schedule. On my days off, I live with my five year old best friend, then hand her over before starting my weekly stint of three 12.5 hour long night shifts. I'm used to it now nearly a year in, and quite like how my life is turning out. A new motorcycle is on the cards soon, thanks to me having a shit load more money than I had while being chained to that horned creep.

I'm doing a fuck of a lot better than I thought I would.

It’s awesome. I love the time with the kids but also the time to myself. You get to catch up with friends, date, just do whatever you like without any guilt. All the things your ex kept you from. Then you’re recharged to enjoy your time with the kids.

You're a bit fresh that's why you feel this way. I had panic attacks my first year when the kids were with me. Had to lock myself in a bathroom or anywhere I could have privacy. When they left, rage, disgust and all sorts of intense feelings. Met a woman. Started a new blended family. The rest is history.
You feel this way because you were wronged. Because you deserve 100% not 50%. Because you don't know what the future has in store? What if you knew that a year from now, you will be happy?

I mean, I don’t hate it when I just have the dog snuggled up to me and I am not doing it all by myself.
