Every divorcing woman is taking advice from a miserable friend and is lead to believe the grass is greener

I had the cold, near celibate wife who thought all my intimacy attempts were gross and my sex drive was perverted….. meanwhile I find the emails to her coworker she was fucking on the side …

The lack of accountability is so apparent now. Many women are entitled and empowered to do whatever they choose. They come here and will find thousands who will defend them.

I’m divorce process. I got a new job. Her attorney wants me to submit info so there’s more child support. Fine. Ex forgot her 401k is much higher than mine. Demanded new statements from the 401ks as a counter. She’ll get $100/mo but it just cost her $20k or so

My final anniversary. Took her to a great dinner. Drinks after. Cute gift and everything. Came home and paid the babysitter. Went upstairs and lit some candles in our bedroom. An insane 20 minutes later she came upstairs (after talking to the sitter for forever). Her first words “oh, you wanted your parts touched.”

My wife may have had a better body but the woman I’m with does everything I have ever wanted and asks for seconds and thirds. She’s like a prisoner given a day pass when we are alone. My ex is now driving hours for her new BF who is a complete simp. Let him deal with her manipulation.

Why are you testing? Fucking your ex after she enjoys another man??? Yeeeesh Just look at it on the other end. Having a woman to beg you to feel you bust is about the hottest thing possible. I have a few women who desire me in ways I didn’t know existed!!!!

Help us understand the signs you saw. I busted my ex with her underling at work during covid. I get it. She was suddenly interested in me sexually and I said that it was suspicious. Boy was I right

My ex using LinkedIn, is thanking her workplace for giving her all the time she needs to pursue her passion…. She’s judging a sport out of state. So happy for her. Meanwhile the young kids are once again sent my way, outside the parenting plan, while she is gone. I’m so glad it is the flexibility of her workplace that allows her to do this and nothing else.

Girls seemingly love the wrong element. Good girls always want the beard, motorcycle and tattoos. The sure thing with a working guy is a joke to them. It’s the equivalent of Tiger Woods banging waitresses and strippers when he had a Nordic queen at home.

She did it only after I asked to have a conversation. She chose to not converse but instead went directly to representation. Now she found out how much she is losing…. Looks like she was putting a lot more into her 401K thinking it was untouchable in a divorce.

There were years I had all the insurance deductions, paid the bills and more from my paycheck. She maxed out her withholdings. If the gender roles were reversed, what would be happening here? Who said that there will be a huge fight?
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 05:12 PM
2

Thanks. I’m not settling for less
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 05:10 PM
4

Why not? It’s a joint property state. If the genders were reversed then it wouldn’t be an issue. I refuse to live in a double standard. She was putting more into her 401k when I was focusing on bills. That’s as much mine as hers.
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 03:44 PM
2

I agree. Thanks
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 03:12 PM

I’m not being combative. I promise you that. If her advocate comes back with a split 50/50 I won’t need to spend any $$$. Any less then I inform them that I’m represented and here’s the name and number.

Both of ours were acquired during marriage. Very minimal premarital assets after 20 years. I’m a commercial bank lender. I am all about making a balance sheet here and then tearing it in half
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 01:30 PM
1

Who said the terms favor her? That’s where I disagree. I’ll let them try to set the tone and then bring the hammer down. This is no different than someone showing with papers and handing them to an unsuspecting spouse. I just know what’s coming and what I’m supposedly due I appreciate the insight. I just don’t need to pay someone to collect documents and email to them. I’ll happily provide what is needed. I’ve collected hers from them.
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 11:56 AM
1

I’m wanting to see the terms in a draft agreement. I never said I’m signing it. I think of it like draw poker. She has to show her five hold cards and I don’t. Once I see their draft, I can then make a move one way or another. Her actions have put her in the first to act position.
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/25 11:31 AM

Ya. I get that. No need to go full nuclear. That’s for sure.

Bro. My stbx is a figure skating judge. It’s not paid. There were 15+ weekends in a year she’d be fully gone. They’d cover her travel, hotel and food. It was “working” for 4 hours per day and hanging with your friends for the rest of it. Called her out and I was ruining her dreams. Sorry, we both worked full time. We have two young kids. I was always second. The dead bedroom just made it all that worse.

I was in the dead bedroom, married to Elsa (joke). She had all the time in the world to do her own thing. We both work full time, had young kids. She would leave 15+ weekends per year to judge a dying sport for free. It’s effectively a 4-5 hour work day for free hotel/food for a weekend with your friends. There was no intimacy. The attempts she made were to schedule it (ick). When it did happen it was so methodical. Just in and out…. It didn’t matter what I did, she just wasn’t into me at all. D…

The endless double standards and hypocrisy I see…. She can somehow do all the things she could never have done or had time for before. She can travel with her BF, leaving the kids with her mom while we could never enjoy a night alone because leaving the kids with her mom was unfair at the time.

She never put out and when she did it was just her sticking her ass in the air and tell me to just go get off.

Thank you brother. I just don’t get how a person feels being gone that much is acceptable

Kids are in school and the 3% mortgage is amazing. She will owe me a fortune in equity at some point
/r/Divorce_Men17/07/24 02:15 PM

And since you’re cool with them you can’t go for the “well, now bang her mom” defense. Her dad needs to get you plastered tonight
/r/Divorce_Men16/07/24 07:04 PM
2

Bro. Assuming you meant devastated there. But I’d have them put me on the next flight out
/r/Divorce_Men16/07/24 06:49 PM

In front of her parents??? Omg.
/r/Divorce_Men16/07/24 06:45 PM

Does she know you know?

Closing the book and denial are both hard

When and where the monies were acquired is also important but this is clearly a sign to show any court that shes hiding assets
/r/Divorce_Men10/07/24 12:57 AM

That’s a marital asset and would come up during a division of assets hearing

My LL wife cheated after me trying everything. She told me she just wasn’t into sex much any more. Turned out it was just me.

I’ve had them the last 6 while my wife has been gone to her events. Don’t you worry. I’ll get all the weekends while she pursues what is really important. I just hope they have a beautiful marble tombstone and plot for her in Colorado Springs.

/r/Divorce_Men22/05/24 01:29 PM

I blame myself for a lot. But I also blame her for bringing me to the point I’m in. I didn’t force her away. It was the opposite. She wanted to do her own thing and constantly leave me with the kids. Then add to it the dead bedroom.

Why is she up at 4am and why is she pleading to another woman that she’s devoted herself to her? It sounds like there’s trouble in paradise for her already?

It’s really hard to do that to someone you’ve spent 20 years with and is the mother of your kids
/r/Divorce_Men07/05/24 03:26 PM

You slipped. She has that power. Trust me, I understand.
/r/Divorce_Men07/05/24 01:09 PM

She doesn’t have all the benefits of having a husband around who did all the shit she took for granted For me, last night the internet was down at the “old place” (I refuse to call it her home). All it took was cycling the power on the modem.

It wasn’t two months. I think it was Jeff Foxworthy who said that a woman doesn’t find another horse unless she’s already picked a new one from the herd.

Only if they’re selling now. If the lawyer wants to argue 95% of NPV, that’s fine. Plus the real estate lobby in the USA just got smacked down very hard with the commission fixing.

I never could please my wife. She could only get off to grinding a folded pillow or a plug in toy. I was told how I couldn’t compare. So if there’s a guy who can actually please her, I hope he’s fully charged when he goes in. She will try her hardest to fake it until she makes it and I’m sure she will sell it to herself that it’s great.
/r/Divorce_Men18/03/24 04:46 PM

Thanks, man. I am trying. I just am doing this all alone a lot.

I’m in a dead bedroom and am on day 3 of being out. I’d love to see her come alive after 18 years but even if it happened I know what it will turn back to in a few months to a year. Sound similar ?
