Divorced in November and went through 6 months of reconciliation prior to that. The affairs the ex had were demoralizing. Began light dating, had a fuck buddy, and a girlfriend or two that I kept distant.

Then met a chick who I wanted to hook up with. She was definitely beneath my standards but any port in a storm. We ended up dating and even travelled together but I am done being a simp. All that co-dependent needy type of affection: Buying flowers, cuddling etc.

So I opened up to her and she then breaks up with me for “my own good”. So that I can process my feelings. How do you get to trust chicks when they are all this flaky?
