Hi,

Was sent a separation agreement from STBXW around 4 months ago. Replied. Got a reply a month later saying it’s been reviewed and a counter would be incoming that week. Then nothing from opposition lawyer. Reached out myself multiple times. 2 months passed & counting since last communication received from lawyer. All noises from STBXW are that she’s ‘uncontactable’/doesn’t know what’s happening. My gut is telling me something shady is going on.

Background: I took a while to reply to opposition lawyers first contact, during which time i was told they’d immediately file for divorce if they didn’t receive a reply by end of week (by Ex). Replied. Then Zilch.
What could they be up to?

Living apart for 2 years. 1 toddler, sharing custody, verbal schedule, no custody agreement signed as yet…. Joint accounts were emptied by stbxw a long time ago, no other shared assets.

Any advice or insight welcome.
