My wife constantly drinks and drives with my children in the car with her. My son is now 14, my daughter is now 10. She has done it for years. She’s a legit after alcoholic. The kind they used to make after school specials about. She has some periods of sobriety where things are good. But when she’s drinking all of our lives are hell and she’s putting my kids at risk. I’m also almost positive she’s drinking at work. She’s a school teacher. I have stayed with her to try and protect my kids from her as much as possible. I am to the point where I can’t deal anymore. How do I protect my kids after we’re divorced? She hasn’t gotten a DUI yet and I keep praying that she does to make her stop or give me some leverage during a divorce. How do I get her to stop drunk driving with my children? What other advice is there for these circumstances?
