I am not looking for sympathy or advice. I don't care about upvotes or replys. I just need to get this out. She had a hart attack a few days ago and tomorrow she's having quadruple bypass surgery. Things ended over a year and a half ago but I'm a mess. I'm usually as emotional as mr. Spock, but now I keep crying. I grew up with badass action heroes and a tuff as nails dad. Getting in touch with your emotions wasn't a thing that men did. I read somewhere that most US males only understand anger, depression and pride. It's very confusing for me. I know that I'm crying because I care but it feels so unnatural. I try to be strong and confident to ease her fears as I've always done. I don't know what the point of this post, I just needed to tell someone, I'm a hermit, no friends and little family. I guess all I can say is maybe reading this might help someone. That's what this subreddit is for right.
