The best part of divorce is that you're free to not care. Continue to not care. Reveling in someone else's misfortune might feel good in the moment, but people's lives and circumstances change and you have no idea what's going on in her life now.

The goal is indifference. There’s no reason to look her up, follow up on her, or have any investment in her at all. I know that sounds harsh, and maybe even a little difficult. But until you reach indifference, you are still connected, and that connection will prevent you from being your best mentally and emotionally. Good luck and be safe out there.

If she’d rather live a harder life than be with you, as well as being decent to you, then you owe it to yourself not to care. I’m in a similar boat, I hate seeing her struggle, but if they’d rather live that life, it should tell you what they think about us.

same situation . I see ex wife a few times a year since we have kids. she has aged a lot and has health issues. I feel sad however I just remind myself she is the one that left me and she wanted this divorce. so yes serves her right but still sad to see
