I posted other day bc my lawyer was moving firm.

I always thought that even tho she didnt answer and did not properly ensure letting me know next step and such. She left the firm and i was not informed until last minute when she said that my divorce should be done by the end of 2023.

I dont have a lawyer now and i dont like firm that she went to. Not only that, retainer is lot more and i cant financially do it anymore.

I do have an appt with a lawyer that i thought i was going to hire but their firm consist of her son and the lawyer. Also, only had 4 reviews on google but all five stars.

Is there a downside to my divorce when my divorce is at QDRO (settlement)? We sent offer for settlement but yet to hear any answer because my lawyer was cut short.

New lawyer that i want didnt accept me yet but she is much experienced than my current one whom practice less than five years.

We married for 2 years and half when divorce was filed, no kids, and only problem is the house (i am taking the house). Even then, the house is upside down so initial offer was to either we just go on our ways or i do owe her 20k, but because of the house, she ultimately owes me 6k if house is forcefully sold.

Any input will be appreciated.
