How long did your forensic accountant take to give you a final report?

The forensic accountant that was appointed in my case, thru OC’s request, came out with his initial report rather quickly—within 8 weeks of getting all the information to him. The initial report was to determine what was marital and what was non-marital despite having a clearly defined pre-nup in place. His first report concluded that the non-marital assets in the pre-nup were indeed non-marital: big surprise! Hah. He ended up being engaged further by the court, after that report, to do a dissipation analysis that was so ridiculously broad at the direction of my ex-wife. That process took another 4 weeks or so, and resulted in a finding of $11k of dissipation by me over a three year period of focus. So, long way to say he was engaged from October ‘25 thru June ‘26 and cost ME $120k for a net benefit to my ex-wife of $11k.

I also had to provide monthly statements/documents for the last decade; and I was married only 8 years. It was brutal but my strong documentation and quick response time did, I believe, help my cause.
