I had my ex served over two years ago. The divorce was final, but I wanted to settle child support; our child has been with me full time for more than two years, and she hasn't been paying any child support. I also wanted to settle the issue of alimony, since she's been living with a guy for more than two years and using his last name. Meanwhile, I've been the sole support and parent of our child while still paying her alimony every month. She has also violated our separation agreement continuously by refusing to pay even for his minimal medical costs that she agreed to in the separation agreement.

Her lawyers have successfully stalled for more than two years now. They canceled six court dates for one reason or another. I never canceled once. Each of those times I took a day off, only to have it wasted because her lawyers didn't inform my lawyer that the event was canceled until literally the day before.

The last time they promised that they wouldn't cancel again. The next date was set for tomorrow. She canceled it this afternoon. I wish I could say that I was surprised, but instead I'm numb.
