I’m (M44) in the process of going through divorce with two children (3&5). I only see them on weekends as I’m being accused of family violence and fighting that in court. Last weekend I took them to the park. Today I got a message from the STBX - she wrote “because of your fun weekend I am now having to deal with two sick kids and now I’m sick. Please don’t take them to any public park.”

There was more to the message, essentially blaming me for a common cold. Do I even respond or just send her note to the lawyer as proof of her controlling behavior that nearly drove me crazy.
