My wife left me after 14 years. It’s been 2.5 and I still haven’t moved on. Can’t figure out how to do it. Probably dont want really want do it. So, my advice is to WANT to move on. Good luck to you.

Go to therapy. Hang out with friends. Join a Meetup. Ask yourself What am I?Who am I? Ask your friends those questions for themselves. Ask them to answer it about you. Ask yourself, when I die, what do I hope people say about me or talk about at the funeral? Write this stuff down. Put it on the fridge. Talk about it in therapy.

You have to learn to be alone. Find a distraction that doesn't involve anyone else. Hobbies are a good idea, but it has to be something new that never involved her so that you can do something you will enjoy without anyone in your past mucking it up for you.

I've recently left my wife of 12 years. I understand what your saying about your identity, and I am battling that as well. I know it's hard to be positive when you are so hurt. But try to focus on all the possibilities for change and personal growth that could come out of this. Maybe you will become the happiest version of yourself, someone you didn't know even existed anymore. Marriage is hard, and it's a struggle, try to take this as an opportunity to turn the page on a new chapter in your life.

I'm dealing with the exact same issue. I don't know the answer but none of this "feels" right to me. I keep pushing past my comfort zone and it hasn't really panned out for me in that I don't find myself with much in terms of happiness. It's not that I don't have interests, it's that nothing interests me anymore. I wish I could immerse myself in something and meet people, but I really don't have an interest that would get me to that place.
