Its been a long 7 months with my divorce, my official first ex wife wanted to keep the house I was fine with her keeping it as long she paid my fair share of the property. She didn't like the idea of because she thinks the end of marriage was my fault but essentially it was both our faults. My lawyer gave her two tries to refinance the house and pay my half out both times she failed to do so trying to have her mom assume it and paid the mortgage late twice 30 days late. The 3rd time my lawyer gave her one more chance to refinance the house she managed to not even pay the note. I don't understand you want the house so bad but you can't even afford it. Now my credit has bad remarks and she thinks I am being an asshole for forcing her to do this process correctly.
