Divorce almost over

Guys, when I hear some of you complaining how long your divorce is taking, then I hear, 11 months, 6 months, a year and a half, it's actually pittyful you think that's a long time. I'm on year 6 of ligation and custody battle in this corrupt legal system and out a million in my own legal fees fighting a total maniac so perhaps lighten up and count your blessings. Words of wisdom.

Mine had a baby during the divorce w her AP. It’s been over 2 years, and it absolutely sucks. I’m not mad she left, it was a gift, but the way she’s done it makes her an objectively person, which makes me even happier she left.

Congrats. Mine has been sitting with the sheriff to serve. I honestly just want this to be over with. I'm so done, and the prospect to ever get married again is virtually slim to none. I don't even think I could cohabitate again.

I felt the same way but I told my lawyer to bring out the chainsaw to make the divorce go faster. Took only 3 months from being served to finalize. Feelings didn't help with finding out she had someone on the side that she sent 731 texts and picture msgs to in 1 month. Karma has come back on her, found out that she's hit 2 deer (1 during separation and 1 after the finalized divorce) with her car. I found this out cause our insurance said if I knew about the claim on the 1st one, I had called them about changing the ins on my car during the separation, and I found out about the 2nd claim when I called to cancel our insurance because I went with some other insurance company after the divorce was final. I can honestly say that you'll feel better when the divorce is finalized.

Halfway to the end, almost out and in a new place. I am sooooooo fucking ready to start my new life. To have my peace, to work towards real intimacy and a warm compatible embrace. All in due time.
