My divorce landed up in trial after 2.5 years of battling a settlement. She wanted to get divorced and yes they are evil, she claimed I was aggressive and dominating while she sat at home for 25 years refusing to work. Judge awarded her half my house and 7 years maintenance. Do not marry and if you do....get a lawyer to draw up a contract to protect your ass.

Things I learned in my first divorce is this: it's very easy to maintain an outlook of a decent person, especially if there is no conflict. Even stupid and evil person can look innocent while they sleep.

The woman you marry is not the woman you divorce. This is why people are highly recommending you not get remarried. Prior to getting married women are already informing themselves on how to navigate a divorce… just in case. That’s the new norm. Old school thinking will just get you in trouble and possibly bring you to your own extinction. These are very different times. Marriage is a business contract and money does weird things to people. We sign stuff this Friday. I had to schedule all the shit because she just bailed. At least we can hopefully move on to the next chapters of our lives

I feel for you man! I am in a shit situation myself. Being accused of multiple things, so much so that I took a voluntary drug test to prove she is not mentally stable. I was accused of being an alcoholic, a worthless drug addict doing all sorts of illicit drugs, abusing drugs, etc. Zero of that is true and now I have proof she was lying about it. But because of that being stated in the first hearing, of course the Judge sided with her, and only alloted me to have my kids 3 days a week, every other week.
