Just getting started, I’ve known for almost a year with no uncertainty I want out. But finally making moves. Got my irreplaceable items out, baby hood pics a few small things from my mom before she passed etc. setup consults with two separate lawyers in town.

Curious how bad it’ll be for me, 4 years married. I have a pension and a 401k I’m worried about. Figure all the things we got together we’ll split, vehicles joint savings etc that’s all whatever… mostly the pension maybe I can buy her out with the 401k.

Biggest regret of my life is asking that question… is what it is I guess lessons learned, I’m sure I’ll be schooled in the near future on more.

Guess I Had to vent.

Any ideas on protecting my pension short of buying her out I’m all ears
