Good evening gents quick question. Stbx and I have been living under the same roof & separated since summer. Recently decided it was getting to a point we needed our own spaces. We have 2 young kids, and an option I’ve read about it getting a 2nd property (for example 2 bed apartment). Each having a room there. And mom and dad do the moving back and forth say for the first year just to keep normalcy for the kids.

Stbx and are are very amicable and could make this work. Just wanted opinions on this and if anyone has done it pros and cons.

The reason for doin this has to do with finances and work schedules.
