Sorry. You're not alone. It sucks.

Unfortunately, there's no quick fix. You just have to feel the pain and learn to process all those feelings and "what if" thoughts. But it will pass and you will have another life on the other side of this. Promise.

Your job right now is to be kind to yourself and not give into self-destructive behaviors. A lot of men recommend hitting the gym or exercising and finding a therapist, even if you've never contacted one before. Friends and family can also help, if you have some you can turn to. And you can always post here for more help.

You aren't alone. My ex torpedoed a 17 year relationship/14 year marriage by jumping in the vodka and vicodin bottle and not coming out, no matter how hard I tried. She got to party, shop, in and out of rehab, and do whatever she wanted. I put up with literal hell until the day she hit my son.

She moved back home and kept telling us how much better she was without us. Even when she fell again, over and over, people were there to help her. Me? No one I didn't have to pay. No family, no friends no church. Watching her get all the help she needed for free while everyone turned their back on me and my son...

It fog so deep I almost didn't see how close to suicide my son got (note written and noose tied). Literally hours before he was going to do it. At 10 years old.

Listen to u/MartyMcFly7. He copied pretty much what I would have said. Two years out, my son and I LOVE life - something I haven't been able to say since my 20's. Don't dive into that bottle (med or alcohol). Don't overeat to keep the pain down. It gets better.

Ok how old are you do you have children has the divorce been finalized.

At this point your goal is to come out of all this as financially intact as possible.

She's happy because she has a distraction she's probably been wanting to end things for the last 12 years but dragged you along aslong as it benefited her.She didn't just leave you and become happy she left the relationship awhile ago just didn't formalize it.

Remember women have other men that will do everything and more than what you did for her just lurking around the corner.My Girl left me for a guy 3x her age he took her on trips baught her stuff it is what it is I don't love these hoes.

Time to get focused on your mental health and your personal and financial growth.Of you don't want to see her get another job.Go back to school building your wealth.

I work when I want to I have plenty of money and time. I don't have a children or a wife women come and go and they aren't missed when they do.I can go where I want when I want.If it wasn't for covid I would be flying to Thailand for 5 days.

I have 22 year old that comes over cooks cleans my house sucks my dick then leaves.I bought her a phone for her 19th birthday.

Be glad she's happy doing her and not wasting anymore of your time.

Get control over your emotions take a deep breath and get started on a new phase of your life.

My wife reconnected with her ex-husband after 20 years while I was deployed. She says she had sex with him once, in the beginning of my 6 month deployment. After that, he flew down from Chicago once a month to "hangout". Right. Im still trying to work on my issues with her, but he is my biggest hurdle. If I can't get over their relationship, how can I repair what I feel is still salvageable? I can't see the end, yet. But I do see better for both of us. BTW, I was unfaithful too.
