I am currently working with a mediator for the purpose of a divorce (New York, Nassau county). I always felt tension between me and the mediator but assumed that this is normal as mediation can be uncomfortable to all sides involved. With time I realized that she was potentially biased or used imorral techniques (in my opinion) to drive mediation. Examples: 1. In several of the mediation meetings the mediator made her hand into a shape of a gun, aimed it at my head and said something to the extent of "you will die (pay greatly) if you take this to court." 2. She mentioned in several different ways that I will be taking a tremendous risk if I'll pursue this in court. 3. When deciding on discretionary items she always advised my ex to take the maximum possible. When I objected she basically insisted/cohorsrd me. 4. I reviewed the document with a lawyer and he said that he can see real evidence for the mediator bring on my ex's wife. 5. She over charged me, this very simpler mediation (1 child, no fights over child, took 5 meetings) is now costing me more than 16k... 6. Despite the fact she knew I'm dealing with anxiety (the matter has come up several times during mediation) she was using inappropriate language such as "don't go crazy" when I was hyperventilating during it signing.

Is there anything I can do? Is it all in my head or is this conduct potentially problematic? Should/can I report her conduct and if so, to whom?

Thank you!
