I have been separated from my wife for 15 months now (in Virginia you must be separated for one year when a minor child is involved) and sent, through attorney of course, a draft of divorce decree papers.

That was in March of this year. So far we have not received a response and see bo movement on her behalf. She claims her attorney has been too busy, and according to my attorney they have been unable to reach them. I informed her that this is not my fault nor my problem to solve.

I suspect that she is slow rolling this in hopes of a reconciliation. She has stated that “we don’t really need to get divorced. You can live wherever and you can see whoever you want.”

The question is, what options do I have? Is there a legally speaking to force a response?
