So we had the financial talk last night. Back story: 12 years together. Married 6. 2 kids. We earned everything together. 50/50 Here’s what’s she’s offering and some of the details. Her: Makes $110k per year Me: Makes $55k per year Her: Works for a private company and has no investments. Me: Works for a state agency for 7 years and has $105k in a pension account. The deal: I get the house. Bought into for $237k; Current under estimate is $350k for the property. She also pays for our children’s daycare/school @ $1800 per month. I would also receive $1000 per month child support. Her return: A savings account worth $7k and 50% of my pension.

I think it’s a decent and fair offer. I can recoup the loses from the pension with time and properly investing more. I also get the house which I turn for a profit sooner than later. Then; get liquid, find a more suitable spot for the kids and I after this all blows over. Thoughts and Prayers?
