Currently considering divorce. Late 30s. Married 2 years. No kids. Own a home together. We've tried counseling and other options, but it's not helping. I live in California, I don't have many friends in the area, and my family all lives out of state. My wife will probably not take then news well. There is no infidelity or anything like that. My wife makes more than I do. What should I expect if I decide to go through with the divorce? Any suggestions on how to navigate this situation, in addition to consulting an attorney? I'm hoping to avoid pitfalls and minimize issues in the process as much as possible. Thanks in advance for your wisdom.
