I made a post sometime ago about how I think this slogan counts as blatant misandrist hate speech, and I'm sure most if not all here would agree. This slogan is not only blatant misandry but even calls for genocide, given that the person who coined it advocated for anti-male genocide and reducing the world's male population to 10%. I cringe anytime I see this slogan anywhere be it on a T-shirt or a display at work or a public place. I wonder if people who use this slogan or wear apparel with it are even aware of it's genocidal origins? It's also extremely worrying about the effect this has on young boys when they see or hear it, basically being told they have no future and no place, and don't matter just because they're male. In today's ultra-misandrist climate it's even worse. I've seen some defend it's usage saying it's meant to mean how far women have come and how there's more women in positions of power, leadership, etc. but does such a sexist and supremacist slogan have to be used to acknowledge and celebrate this? "The future is male" is every bit as sexist and supremacist and wrong as this is as well.

I think it's absolutely hate speech, promoting both misandry and genocide, and advocates for supremacy and not equality. It deserves to be in the same class as other hate speech such as "white power" and is no different at all from speech like that. I don't have anything against empowering women and girls, but this slogan isn't empowerment nor should it count as such. I've even seen some feminists say they hate this slogan and feel it doesn't promote equality, which is absolutely correct. If you care about equality, you won't use or endorse a slogan such as this. The future is not female nor is it even male for that matter, it's both having equal rights and opportunities, and neither being advantaged over the other.
