"Kill All Men" is a response to misogyny

"Kill all men" is hyperbole or venting or a response to misogyny

That has always been such a flimsy and pathetic excuse. Let's do a simple thought experiment that even an intellectually lazy person can do:

Imagine a woman says something misandrist (e.g. "men are pigs")

Imagine a man gets fed up with that kind of bigotry and responds with "kill all women."

Now let's ask ourselves whether his response acceptable. Should we make excuses for people who say shit like that? Should we defend it against people who point out that it's hateful?

"B-b-but it's different because of femicide and stuff!"

Every hypocrite in the sordid history of petty hypocrisy has had super good reasons why "it's different when I do it." I propose an alternative: just don't be a hypocrite and a bigot.
