"The future is female."

I've ranted about this before and felt the need to do so again after at work today at my bookstore there was a display for a book signing this past weekend and on it was a mini-biography of the author, talking about how she hopes to empower women with her books. Nothing wrong in and of itself with that, until it got to the last paragraph where it said "the future is female." I loathe and despise this slogan with all of my being and how it's seen as promoting equality and inclusivity is beyond me. It's a blatantly sexist, supremacist slogan and "the future is male" would be no different or better from it. It's no different from white supremacist rhetoric like "white power" and has the same bigoted intentions behind it. It blows my mind this slogan isn't only seen as socially acceptable but the way I've seen some feminists defend it, saying it's meant to promote equality and empowerment and how far women have come. It doesn't promote those things at all, it's an undisputably misandrist and supremacist slogan. It's disgusting and disturbing to me this slogan is seen as perfectly fine and acceptable, and that people genuinely believe there's nothing wrong with it. "The future is male" would be equally bigoted and ignorant, and it's backlash would be well-deserved. Yet this equally hateful slogan gets a pass. I worry for young boys who see this slogan everywhere and are basically being told they have no future and don't matter, in addition to all the other misandrist nonsense that's been so heavily enforced and promoted in society over the past number of years.

I'm posting this here on this sub because without a doubt this is a misandrist slogan, same as "The future is male" would also be misogynistic. Both promote hatred and supremacy, but one is seen as perfectly alright when it shouldn't be.

The quote "the future is female" comes from an essay by a gender supremacist, gender separatist, gendercide advocate named Sally Miller Gearhart. In this essay, she argues:

I) Every culture must begin to affirm a female future.

II) Species responsibility must be returned to women in every culture.

III) The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race.

She also founded Women's Studies programs as we know them.

I seem to remember there was some dubiousness about whether this was the origin of the phrase. If you search on LWMA you might be able to find it. Regardless this seems to be a quite well known use of it.

I recall that as well. There was a "future is female" slogan from a lesbian separatist bookstore, and there was (or is) some debate about who used the phrase first.

But all failures will be attributed to men.

I had made a huge post about this in left wing male advocates which got removed. But young boys being ignored and being treated as less important than girls is a real problem. Even in media, "daughters" Are treated as special and important while sons are just meh or worse stupid. Most kids of main characters nowadays will almost be female. Boys are getting shunned in education systems and the education system itself was always kinda geared against Men. My own little brother had to suffer because of thie when his school's march band took a only girls team to the state level competition to make a "statement". Young boys desperately need male role models but these people are either ruining male role models or cheaply turning their gender into female. Imagine the backlash if a female role model was made into male. " Future is female" is not just a slogan, it's a well planned mission it seems like. All I see are young boys being treated like losers, ending their lives depressed and society spitting on them.

The biggest example I give about this is the fact that Greta Thunberg could never have been a boy. There are many boys who are worried about climate change and would really like to do something about it, I was one of them myself. And I support greta thunberg in the good things she does but truth to be told, if she was a boy, she would have never got any attention by the media. She would never make the same impact because somehow young girls are the only gender allowed to be inspirational in our society.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
