I think social media really heightens a lot of these fears to an unhealthy level, then instead of any possible self reflection about it, a lot of them just blame it on men.

Why does she presume men aren't entitled to feel safe too?

How do women like this simultaneously demand men be providers, and protectors, yet also think men don't have to think about being victims of conflict?

Phrased another way :

"I expect men to go to battle to protect me, but i want them to realise i can't be comfortable if i'm thinking about any man that might attack me."

What is this fixation on "women never feel safe?"

Man, feminist fear-mongering has really done a number on women.

As it's been said before. There is a difference between how you FEEL and the reality of the situation. You always FEEL unsafe because feminist has taught you to fear the outside world and the men who inhabit it.

It also goes without saying that men ALSO feel unsafe out in a public much of the time. I'm a fairly tall, broad shouldered, stocky guy. Do I ever feel right as rain walking around at night? Nope. Never. Not once. Ask most men. Most men will tell you they don't feel safe either.

The difference is men are socialized to process and handle the potential dangers of the world differently than women.
