This is very related.

They use transwomen to justify misandry. To push the idea that men or "males" are born inherently bad. And this is one of the rare times conservative and feminists actually put their differences aside. And come together push this form of misandry. Both think these are evil men trying harm women.

And other rare times, are when it comes to the "protect women" narrative. It's no secret that feminists love gender roles that affect men and benevolent sexism. So they still expect men to be strong and protect the helpless women. Again this is another example where feminists and conservatives work together.

I don't care about either side of this debate. Nobody cares about the sanctity of male-only spaces and so I don't spare an iota of concern for female-only spaces.

There's not been a single space for men/boys only where women haven't tried to butt in.

I do agree with objections to the inclusion of 'born men' into spaces like locker rooms, collective showers, anywhere people strip naked or there could be a dangerous situation. Context matters. Especially people appearing to identify with the opposite sex with the specific intention of gaining admission to such spaces (e.g. spontaneous self-identification, just the person's own word, no corroboration, no prior history, no medical files, no nothing, the sole strength of just saying, 'despite how I look, I identify as a woman and I need into that shower') should be treated very cautiously, and pervs who only pretend to be trans people need to be weeded out and punished.

You could interpret many of those objections as people objecting not so much to trans rights as to the idea that there should not be any vetting and a person's own word — unverified — should be the final authority.

Without the intention of starting a discussion on this subject, I also need to go on the record saying I do not agree with the idea that one can be man or woman in contradiction of the DNA/biological sex. I will stand with other people of the same belief when they insist that they don't want to be seen naked by a person whose biological sex is opposite of their own. As a man, I could perhaps get over it. Women may experience shame differently and more strongly, and thus they should never be forced (by laws, regulations, bylaws, terms and conditions, orders of a superior, etc.) to strip completely naked in front of a person of the opposite biological sex.
