I, for one, am actually more pro-choice than most people. I believe that if either parent (father or mother) doesn't want the child, it's better for the pregnancy not to continue, since it's the responsibility of both parents to create and love that child, an act that is, and should be, a life-changing event for both. For me, this isn't just about bodily rights, but about human rights.

It really comes down to the idea that no life at all is better than a potentially abusive one that will cause harm. This is a tough ethical line to walk, I get it. On one hand, there's the argument for the sanctity of life and all its unknown potential. On the other, there's the compassionate argument to prevent a person from being born into a life of near-certain suffering. Personally, I lean toward preventing that suffering.

So, when I see this type of "sick dark humor" I have mixed feelings. I know it's just "a joke", but it makes me happy that boys won't have to be raised by such mothers, and simultaneously sad that some girls might have to.

Anyway, when someone says misandry doesn't exist, this is my go-to argument. A mother terminating a pregnancy based on the child's gender is the very definition of it.

On the good side, some of the misandrist comments are actually being downvoted on reddit so that's one silver living. The comments on instagram however, are horrible. Honestly do, some women shouldn't be mothers at all if this is the mentality they have. As a matter of fact, I would kindly ask for them to be banned from socila media.

That’s some logic right there. Why does everyone use stats as fact. I doubt that 20-33% of the population have been assaulted as a child, but even if it is true, that doesn’t mean it WILL definitively happen again at that rate. And a lot of those cases were done by women, so wtf.

Is there a reason you leave out and cross off the names? Also the source- like which subreddit or wherever. Not implying anything, just that this subreddit is so informative and so demoralizing at the same time. I've been recognizing the misandry here and there, but now reading it here makes clear the regularity, casual malevolence, and quantity. So all I want is to have their comments in full paraded before a greater readership than their misandrist bubble. But maybe there's some rule about it or liability somehow?
