What works depends hugely on you.

Personally, I like to reflect on what hurts, why, and if I was at fault, if so how specifically. I am politely forcing myself to articulate the pain so as to process it better. The better you understand the pain, the easier it'll pass.

Now that's an adults perspective, if you're young, the first few times feel like the world is about to end. Keep your head up, give it time, and (be it difficult) try not to take it to heart, too much.

You're going to be a mess at first. If this is your first ever breakup/cheating, it'll probably feel like the world is ending. This is normal, and it's ok to be devastated.

The important thing to remember is that everyone goes through some versions of this, and that you're not alone. It won't be like this forever, and eventually you'll be able to look back on this with equanimity.

You deserve someone that wants you for you. Whoever you thought this other person was, they weren't it.

No, but 2 years ago I was where you are. R/breakups is a pretty helpful place. They give alot of tips on how to recover after a bad breakup. I think you need to give yourself time to heal. Like a physical injury or a viral infection in the body, you need to take some time for yourself.

And also remember, don't get into another relationship until you're 100% ready to do so. There's a phase that happened to me, almost like a "false recovery" where you feel extremely high and elated. This happened to me a month or so in, but I crashed extremely hard after. I wasn't ready for another relationship until over a year later!

Was this like the first time it’s happened to you or something? You’re going to deal with it quite a lot. I wish I had easier advice but I don’t. I will say this, the more you face rejection, the more used to it you will be. The first few rejections are quite the blow but eventually, you’ll learn to take them like a champ of you allow yourself to. Same with break-ups in a sense

I have experienced all 3. I've been rejected by multiple women I've asked out or asked to be exclusive.

I've been dumped a few times from longer relationships that lasted a couple years each

I've been cheated on in a relationship that was 2 years long

The important thing is to not resent all women because of these things. Yes, there are some shit people out there who will hurt you. There are also great people who will show you love that you didn't think you deserved.
