Tl:dr; Woman i'm dating never initiates contact eventhough she admitted having feelings for me. It's borhering me and i don't know if i should be sincere about it or just hide it.

"Being needy is bad" is something that you would not only hear in RP community. Even my close entourage advises me of not being needy. 

Here's a situation i'm living where i'm hesitating if i should be transparent about my feelings or not.

There's a girl at my workplace for which i've developed strong feelings. These feelings built up through time as we were flirting daily. There was a crazy vibe between me and this girl, we make each other laugh so much etc and i'm physically attracted to her like crazy. We had a long period where we both never explicitly told each other our reciprocal interests, even worse, i used to talk about other girls and she did the same about men she was dating. I always avoided trying anything despite how "we match" because she is 5 years older than me and we share the same workplace.

One day she told me she'd like to present me to one of his female friends because she thinks we'd make a good couple. Since that day, i understood she isn't interested in me at all and i started taking my distances. To the point where the daily flirt and laughs just stopped and we completely stopped talking to each other for like 4 months.

I was very frustrated during that 4 months no talk period, but i was thinking that's what i have to go through to move on and get rid of the crush. But it was just impossible, i couldn't get her out of my head.

So recently i just decided to admit my feelings to her. She was very surprised and asked me why i took so long to tell her. She admitted that the period were we didn't talk at all was very difficult for her. On top of that, she admited having feelings for me and accepted the date. Our date went very well and we ended it with kissing and she hugged me really tight like if she knew me for years, it was really intense as it was an attraction and attachement we've been building up for months and that we've just expressed.

So here is the "tricky situation":

The night following that first date we spoke a little bit about the date, we both enjoyed it. Day after the date was a normal work day so we only talked about work. This weekend, we didn't talk at all yet...  

I'm historically usually the one who always initiates contact, even during our "friendzone" period, if it wasn't me initiating contact she would rarely talk first, or if she talks first she'd talk about work then only after that proceeds to talk about personal life.

I'm the type of person who needs to be talking to his partner daily. I feel like she isn't. Or maybe we're just too early on our dating. Or maybe i've been too expressive about my feelings to her, about how i'd like to spend time with her, to the point that it turned her off?  

At this point i just decided to not initiate any contact and let her talk first. I know she will probably ask here "Where were you at? Why are so silent these days?". I would like to be sincere to her and just tell her that i feel like i'm always the one initiating contact, and that i also feel like i rushed too much into this and maybe i scared her. I want to tell her this because that's the feeling i get.  

I really need to be talking to her daily because that's how we used to be before expressing our feelings and before that weird period where we both took our distances. But today it isn't the case at all. Maybe i'm going too fast on this? But i feel like asking HER this question would turn her off because that will show how committed i am in this relationship.  

The way to play it and that is advised by everyone is just to tell her anything... Or to talk to her whenever i feel like talking to her even if she don't initiate contact. But that's not what i'm expecting from a relationship.  

So my question here is just if i should be sincere about everything that is going on now on my end or not. If being sincere would turn her off, then this sadly makes me think that i'm just not fitted for relationships and being an sarcastic fake alpha is the only way to go for me...
