Vocally speak out the opposite of these negative thoughts. Almost like you were saying it in a matter of fact way to a friend, like, "There are women who use men for money, but there are also men that use women for only sex. There are bad apples in every batch. I will not hate women based on my confirmation bias."

Give those thoughts a name other than your own and just shut them off like "Shut up Kevin" (sorry if your name is Kevin, truly random example) I do that to my intrusive anxious thoughts.

Someone once told me our first reaction to something is what society taught us to think, and the second is really "ours". Just give room to that good part of your mind that knows better, I think the more you favour it over the MRA intrusive thoughts the more it will become prevalent.

You seem to know women are people so I don't think trying to further convince you that women are valuable is the way to go. Sometimes we try to learn new stuff on top of the toxic behaviours, instead of unlearning the root of it all... if you know what I mean? (sorry, I'm not a native speaker)

Alternatively, practicing meditation is great to rid yourself of intrusive thoughts, but I recommend meditation to everyone for everything so do what you want with this advice.

There this poem I read when I was in high school called " the frog and the nightingle" written by Vikram seth. It has story something like this that there was a frog who croacked from dusk to dawn in an old forest tree. One day there comes a nightingle who sing melodiously and the other creature rejoice and said encore. So, the frog approach nightingle and said that even though she sings melodiously, she need to improve her technique. So,the frog made her practice day and night. In one week, the health of nightingle deteriote and on last day of week when nightingle try to sing, she grasp and die. The frog said that what a stupid bird she was. And he again go on with his solitary loon. Moral of the story is " there are people who will pretend that they will care about you but actually all they want is you to be as miserable as they are" I only give a summary of poem when you read it you will understand.

I like other peoples replies so I won't repeat what they said, I'll just add my perspective...

These ideas are coming to your mind despite you logically seeing the reality that's much different from what they claim? Well then these ideas speak to a less logical and more subconscious part of you. Reading their articles, watching their videos and ultimately thinking those thoughts are activities that create some emotional or hormonal reaction in you. If you keep going back to it, it's because the reaction you get from it speaks to a need you have deep down, but you didn't meet yet.

What is that reaction linked to, what is that need?

Does it make you feel more independent? More in charge of your life? Does it make you feel like you're coming to terms with some women (or even men) who have wronged you in the past? Does it make you reject a traditional model of the relationship, or generally set you free from traditional expectations from a man? Or maybe, on a more personal level, do these thoughts set you free from expectations your family / gf / friends have from you, or even from expectations you may have from yourself? Are you heading towards something you deep down don't want for yourself? Do you need more male companionship in your life? Do you need to get more in touch with your masculinity? Do you need some sense of validation from men in general, or some men in your life in particular? It can be any of these reasons, or something entirely different. You are the only one who can answer it for yourself. And once you answer it, work on that aspect of your life. The MGTOW stuff is just gonna fade away naturally then, cause there will be no emotional reactions left to fuel it - since those emotions will be engaged where they are actually needed.

The main takeaway from my comment should be this: if you know something doesn't correspond reality the way you see it, but you still find yourself stuck with those thoughts, it's because those thoughts are speaking to a deeper need you have inside you - a need that is buried in your subconscious mind and not met in your reality.

Hey! I appreciate your vulnerability. That takes guts. Those aren't very good thoughts to have, but it's understandable. Sometimes we get thoughts we don't agree with. When I get an intrusive thought, I notice it, then decide if I agree or disagree with it. This is called mindfulness. I recommend checking out the Meditation sub to help with this.

It's a strange time to be a man. I sympathize. Times are weird, especially in the dating world. A tip that came to mind was to research women who have changed the world. The few that came to my mind immediately were Marie Curie, the woman who discovered the DNA double helix structure, the woman who busted her ASS to make birth control readily available to the public in the late 60s, the countless women who have studied psychology to help others with mental illness. All of these women helped society as a whole, not just women. We would be so far behind without women! Sure, maybe men would have come to some of the same conclusions, but not in the same amount of time and probably not in the same way. Women have created lots and lots of beauty and technology in this world.

Here is why I became a exRedPiller:

There may be a million women are contributing to the problem that is highlighted in TRP. But why should I punish my wife for the sin committed by random women? Frankly I don’t care about these millions of women who are like the ones described by red-pillers; and I am not going to let it spoil my relationship with my wife.
Redpillers constantly rage abt how women are contributing to the problem, but are absolutely silent abt the top 20% of men who are equal contributor to the problem. Infact the red-pillers almost adore and want to become like the top 20% men. This is pure hypocrisy.
Redpill idea has lot of holes; that is why they are a closed group. Anyone who questions them is immediately banned. In my opinion, if an idea can stand on its merit, it should be able to withstand someone questioning that idea.

Just think of the humor side of it. If you go to Tumblr, you will see female version of MGTOW. Basically women who said that all men are rapist or all men are useless or all men are abusers, etc.

Basically they are locked in an eternal battle with MGTOW crowds, in an adult version of childish "U!" "No U!".

You wanna be a part of that? Think man, think.

There’s nothing wrong with thinking that way about women. You can think they’re all meaningless to you and not really “like” them per se. You just have to think differently for the women that matter to you - your gf, mom, daughter, etc., which you already do it seems.
