Redpillers be like: yes that's how it should be

Well, yeah. This is why there's no legitimacy to the redpill movement. They just want to condemn women for everything, and they assume all male/female interaction is a zero-sum game that diminishes women and augments men.
And they wonder why they're single.

Most of these those double standards are the same double standards society has at large. The red pill just takes those further with a mix of traditionalist ignorance/malice and bro-humor.

But it's not totally traditionalist. Older women who are married and have children were not devalued in traditionalist society, while redpill encourages men to ditch older women and get with younger women.

Some of these are societal double standards or just uncomfortable truths about the differences between genders in our society. They are certainly not fair, and they don't apply accross the board. A lot of red pill beliefs are reinforced by their own behavior. For example, if you don't look for a meaningful relationship, you will find partners who instead are looking for some sort of utility from you instead, and that will color your view of the opposite sex.

Do you consider yourself red pilled? "uncomfortable truths" definitely the lingo.

An uncomfortable truth is what the original metaphor was from the movie "the Martix". If you accept any uncomfortable truths that you are better for accepting in the long run, then in a sense you can be red pilled. This is why the Red pill has also been used to describe conservative economic theory and politics such as Thomas Sowell. But I don't agree with the Red Pill reddit groups relationships between men and women. They suffer from the same solipsism that they project onto women. That said you have to understand that they aren't going to be wrong about everything. A broken clock is right twice a day. Even the Nazis were right about how bad for you smoking can be.
