I think that you're incapable of igniting that "spark" in someone else's eyes, because you probably don't have it in your OWN eyes.

I think you need to both OWN your height, and also forget about it.

Become the best man you can be - take care of your mental health, your physical health, your spiritual health, and you will begin to become more confident and charismatic, and that's when the spark will grow in your own eyes, and you'll start attracting women and you'll be able to ignite that spark in their eyes.

Most adult (age 20+) guys I know are in relationships/married. This includes a handful who are roughly 5'6" or shorter.

I'm 5'6" (and absolutely not handsome at all, average at best) in the tallest country in the world (avg height of women is (5'7" here) and I still get success, also with (much) taller women when going out.

That being said, it's true that it's harder to get a relationship with a taller woman, and unless you look like Tom Holland, you won't often get that "spark" in someone's eyes right away.

But lucky for us men, attraction can grow (really quick too) if you're a charismatic guy, and girls will subconsciously like you even more because you got them to like you despite your height. So that "spark" can come over time, whether it be a few mins/hours, a few dates or a relationship.

I have dated multiple short guys, including one 5’4 and had no issue with attraction. I think it just depends on the person.

To be fair, the only thing that ever ignites a spark in my eyes is an entrancing personality. Looks alone are deceptive and I approach all with the skeptic’s eye.

Holding an extremist position is often self-sabotage. Obviously your dad and your grandad passed down short genes, and women have less of a bio incentive than people claim. But the extremist position is "most women prefer tall men, therefore I don't stand a chance". It's the new risk-averse, socially awkward type the internet produces. If things are harder for you, you don't take as many chances as men for a thousand years prior, and very few chances results in less opportunity, enforcing negative beliefs.

I look at my culture, black American. Most of the guys have very little money, yet it's culturally the standard that many (not all) will hit on as many women as possible until they develop a callous against rejection. This is who the red pill community calls "alphas". It's a numbers game. It's also why boomers were more successful with women than their sons, and picking up women. Not relying on being passive on the internet and waiting for super attractive women to talk to them. They go out in the world, AND have a dating profile, AND look for women with mutual interests, etc.

I'm a 6 foot tall black woman. I'm never going to be the preference of someone who prefers blonds, or petite women, OR any other thing. My husband is your typical Dutch giant (I lived in Europe 8 yrs). Still conventionally taller than me, and sometimes it's also your location. Meeting a woman impressed with your humor at work is of course going to yield a slightly better result than going to a bar with all your friends from the basketball team, etc

Not only is it a stretch to say 5′ 7″ is "Earth Shattering" since you're still significantly taller than the average woman, but there's countless examples of successful and attractive people who are below average height. Some celebrities, like Tom Cruise, are 5′ 7″, and they're considered one of those Hollywood "hot guys".

In terms of "normal" people who are successful while being short.. I don't even know how to provide that kind of information. Successful in what way? There's so many normal people living mundane and happy lives with long-lasting loving relationships while also being short that this isn't really an easy question to answer because there's so much of it that I don't even know what to tell you here. Just, like.. I dunno, go outside? Look around? Look at all the short people who have jobs, wives, and a family. It's everywhere. It's weird to pretend like it isn't.

I know Yuri Gagarin, the first person in space, was 5′ 2″. They're as tall as my girlfriend and became an astronaut. Houdini was 5' 4″, which helped significantly with his escape artist stunts, and Jordi el Niño Polla, a male pornstar, is 5' 5", and is probably one of, if not the most looked up, male pornstar, so a short guy is even one of the most successful male porn actors in-part BECAUSE of his shortness.
