Because the advice is about pursuing short term mating strategies with the most dysfunctional ~20% of women. Many of whom have issues like borderline personality disorder or histrionic personality disorder, or dependent personality disorder.

TRP is men trying to develop narcissistic or sociopathic disorders so they can attract women with borderline or histrionic personality disorder.

Women with good childhoods, healthy self esteem, healthy friendships, etc. will recoil from the bullshit on TRP.

Not everyone wants short term relationships with dysfunctional women.

Some of the advice there is good though. But too much of it is about short term mating by any means necessary.

It's unwilling to recognise the flaw in how it sees women, and how it's completely different to how it treats men

Men are these victims, and need to make ourselves cold, and strong, and etc... because of what women are. WE have agency to change ourselves, but THEY don't.

Like, what? How can it be that THEY are completely irrational and can't control themselves but WE are always given the benefit of the doubt? WE are worthy of being heard?

Here’s a quote from a Senior Endorsed member of TRP:

Apparently this guy has been hanging around TRP long enough that he got to be senior endorsed and his posts are “1) colorful, 2) insightful, 3) informative, 4) worth reading and 5) carries serious wisdom.” In other words, hating women is serious wisdom at TRP. Misogyny is serious wisdom at TRP.

When they’re pushed, even a bit, TRP reveals what garbage they espouse.

That's what you're asking right now. Do you see the issue with TRP when it is phrased like that? I don't know what you've gone through in your life. I'm sure it's been awfully lonely if you're asking why a hate group is wrong. But here's the real red pill that no one likes to swallow: get over it. The billions of other people on this planet don't deserve to be treated like shit solely because you're dealing with crap just like everyone else has to deal with crap. That seems harsh, I know. Many of the more smaller points like orbiting and the wall are (sort of) true. So too is the part of pickup and game working, though certain schools of game are certainly manipulative and cruel than others. What’s more, I would agree with the red pillers that blue pill philosophy and blind feminism just doesn’t line up with reality. Women have a lot more power over you than most men of inexperience will ever understand, sometimes even in their whole lifetimes, and women can be GREATLY manipulative.

However...

I think that if you tried reading a book like Neil Strauss’s The Rules of the Game, gave that a genuine go, and breached past all three phases—attraction, comfort, and seduction—I think you’d very quickly come to find that many of the larger concepts laid out by the red pill philosophy tend to fall very flat, particularly the whole “she doesn’t love you, it’s just your turn” and “emotional conquest” thing.

For example, my experience has showed me that while girls definitely can be drawn to overconfidence and narcissism, all it really takes to hook them is a good first impression. Display the appropriate level of confidence in that first impression and if she’s available, she’ll usually take you. She might flake you later on, but this could be due to anxiety, some other emotional issue, insecurity, not feeling ready for a relationship, and so on; many of those are the exact same reasons that I flaked girls in the past (which I’m not proud of). Once she is hooked and you guys establish a connection, I find that it’s usually very hard to lose that connection.

And THIS is where TRP really starts to fucking fail you.

I often found that if I continued with the alpha facade, the overconfidence, or the dark triad behavior, the woman (unless she was a greatly insecure bad girl) would gradually start to see less sexiness in those traits and would either react with confusion or be much less interested in engaging me. Over time, the girl would either see through my bullshit and just plead with me to be myself, reassuring me that it was okay and that I could be vulnerable, or she wouldn’t see through it and our bond would kind of just take a dive. The dark triad behavior proved useful in SOME bedroom situations, but that was the extent of it for me.

I remember reading a red pill post just the other day about the female alternative to sexual conquest for a male being “emotional conquest”. Basically said that once you give a girl your full emotional devotion, you’ve expended all of your usefulness to her and she quickly moves on. I used to follow a similar rule of avoiding full devotion in pickup to make myself more alluring, but all that really ended up doing was causing frustration on the girl’s part. But when I gave her my heart? When I gave her my all? When I gave her that dreaded full emotional devotion? Well, that’s what kept them around. Usually the only reasons the relationships ended were because I lost interest in them. In fact, that’s actually how ALL of my relationships ended, lol.

I would actually argue that once a woman is attracted to you, you can go full beta and she will still want to fuck you. Beta behavior was my norm around both friends with benefits and girlfriends, and it never led to any abnormal changes in the woman’s behavior. And if my pure faith in them isn’t enough for you, I think all the shit bought for me should be. I remember my current girlfriend made it a point to spend far more money on me for christmas than I could for her just because said she felt I deserved it more for being such a loving boyfriend. And ya know what, that’s exactly what she did.

The only girls I was ever with who even remotely behaved like the red pill taught me they would were the really hot, really insecure, really young girls that Mystery himself would probably tell everyone to target in the club. Pretty girls who wear way too much makeup, are scantily clad whenever possible, and are so mixed up in drama and the negative opinions of others that they can never seem to have a positive opinion of themselves. The stereotypical Stacy, using blackpill philosophy. And even when I cucked those girls’ boyfriends in my more questionable PUA days, they always went back to those boyfriends because they said it felt wrong to cheat.

My biggest issue with the red pill is that it takes those types of insecure women and automatically applies their mindset to every woman alive. Sure, those types of women are out there, and sure, there are control freak females who even stoop so low as to teaching their daughters how to control men, but those women are in the minority, and if you allow yourself to swallow the red pill, the only thing you’ll end up doing is killing any chance of having a meaningful relationship with the many good ones.

In my opinion, they don't treat girls as anything more than fuck dolls.

On the other hand, a lot of girls don't treat men as shit either, so...... it's like a numbers game.

I see TRPers as a mix of Pick-Up Artists and Men Going Their Own Way.
