I actually don't have an issue in itself if someone (man or woman) has high standards in what they want in a partner.

That being said, there's a few caveats:

Don't complain when you have a harder time finding people to date, or when someone doesn't live up to your expectations. Don't pin the blame on the opposite sex.
You have to bring equal/comparable qualities to the table. You want someone who is fit and in shape? You better be hitting the gym yourself. You want someone who can cook, but you suck at cooking? Get better at it, or learn some other skills around the house to make up for it. I can come up with more examples but I'll leave it at that.
If you're young, don't expect people the same age as you to have their shit together yet. Normal everyday people are not going to have a good job and making tons of money right out of high school.
It's okay to have a long list of qualities you want in a partner. But it's best to be realistic. Not everyone is going to fulfill every requirement. It's about wants vs. needs. Besides, maybe if you date someone outside of your type, you'll be surprised and meet someone you like unexpectedly.

I'd also like to mention that I used to have a friend who had ridiculously high standards. It's not a problem in itself. The problem is that she would fall for guys who said they had all those qualities but in reality they didn't. They weren't honest with each other. She also learned to have ridiculously high standards because she learned a lot of toxic behaviors from her mom. This isn't meant to call either gender high maintenance or dishonest. I would imagine that a lot of people who have high standards are simply entitled or spoiled, or they don't understand what a healthy relationship should be like.

To address this video itself, addressing some daytime trash TV is really just going for the low hanging fruit. This is just one entitled lady on a dumb TV show. It doesn't speak for everyone out there in the dating pool. I understand that a lot of people do believe the shit they see on TV, but you also need to ask yourself if you want to date such a person.

I didn’t find it terribly interesting at all tbh all he’s done is take one example of a woman who is crazy and make an entire video out of it.

Also, the whole men aren’t dating thing is a bit strange to me too. In real life (away from the internet) most men I know are dating or in LTR. Unfortunately a lot of red pill men are making bold statements like “men are refusing to date” to make themselves feel better about not being in a relationship.

As others have said on this thread, this YouTuber is taking the example of one woman and then declaring AWALT. AWALT is in fact the basis for MGTOW itself. If a man really believes that all women are bad (or too high of a risk), then he also must believe that he has no chance at having a healthy relationship with one of them.

Where I come from, this is a self-limiting belief reinforced by confirmation bias. In a nutshell, MGTOWs can't move past this self-limiting belief, declare relationships with women as too risky, and then swear them off entirely. They are unwilling to do the work it takes to find women who are compatible AND THEN set boundaries for being in relationships with them.

That being said, a divorce can financially ruin a man and separate him from his children, so I completely understand the fear there. But not all marriages end in divorce. And if men are willing to screen the women they date really well, that will lower the risk. But there are no guarantees in life, so I don't judge men for going their own way at all. It becomes a personal choice.

Because, if it's the former then nobody here gives a flying fuck about MGTOW, as you can probably imagine, most people here are well familiarized with that bullshit, nothing they can say is anything new and most people here just tend to disagree with their bullcrap. If you want some counter argumentation on this dude's views so you can somehow detox then this post is welcome, otherwise it may get deleted.
