I'm very pro scrote usage but I do get what she means about it sounding extreme to show people she knows in real life. It's kind of a gross word. I don't think we should put down other fds women like this. Explain your perspective but don't put her on blast. It's going to turn her away and reinforce the stereotype that this sub is toxic.

Fully agree with another commentor you have NO place putting her on blast or expecting support for doing so.

The FDS handbook glossary of terms defines Scrote as dickhead. That's it, there is nothing else behind it. Just dickhead. I would never call someone that in public, end of story. I don't know any high value woman that would.

This is a public forum. We are a growing community that is getting more and more public attention. I personally do not want to be associated with incel type behavior or as the kind of community that promotes using derogatory language. Scrote is a derogatory term. Saying LVM or NVM is just stating facts.

A high value woman does not need to use derogatory language to make a point. She does not attempt to tear down her fellow woman for a difference of opinion. Scrote is a term used here, fine. She expressed distaste for it. OP you seem to find it empowering. I imagine since you just went through a breakup that is a feeling you need right now. You can both exist and receive support in this community. As a whole, I'd like to see us use it less. My opinion, which does not make myself or anyone else, a pick me or a male apologist, is valid. Your opinion is also valid. I am a recovering pick me as many of us are. Let's work on changing our behavior for the better.

I don't personally use it. I prefer saying "dicks", guess I'm just classy and old fashioned /s

That being said, I don't really care if other people use it? I'm not here to tell other women how to talk.

That being said, I'd like women to feel like they can share an opinion or question things without being written off or have a post like this made.

Looks like you have had a rough break-up, but don’t take it out on other FDS members like me. You haven’t been a member of this sub that long. Please read the handbook before you continue posting on here. This sub is not a place to put other women down. Even though there are some baseline rules we need to follow, there are going to be a variety of opinions on other things (and there should be, we want this sub to be diverse). It’s supposed to be a safe space for all different viewpoints.
