I came here to post this because I need help. I am trying as hard as I can to be body positive. I have starved myself in the past to get down to my "ideal weight" but would gain it back super fast (obviously). I do try and exercise but I have a bad back and a bad hip so I do what I can when I can.

To my point. My growth journey has taken me to a spot I'm having a really hard time with.

I don't want to view my body with the male gaze. I feel like doing this has influenced an unhealthy relationship with my weight and my health. Not to mention growing up in the 90's with diet culture and a mother, who I am pretty sure, was anorexic.

Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to love your body? I feel like if I can work on this, it will ultimately help me with dating because it is an issue with me stressed about dating while not being at my "ideal weight" had me feeling very insecure, but I want to change that. I have found this to be super challenging in my journey.

Thanks in advance to anyone with any input.

I hope this post doesn't violate anything, I don't post much and I'm never really sure.
