I was chilling with my boyfriend on a couch. When I heard him watching some kind of video on his phone. I checked it and it was podcast of a guy, who's being known for being extremely misogynistic. I told him to stop watching it right now and that he's brainwashing himself. He got mad that I dare to tell him he's not supposed to watch this kind of stuff. He told me he has a shit filter and watching won't affect him and he can watch different points of view and pick what's his opinion. I asked when was the last time he watched something with different point of view ( something saying that women are not evil) But I knew the answer. My boyfriend is rather conservative, I often lecture him about things related to women and other races/genders. I said I can't be dating someone who agrees with this kind of opinion. He agreed and told me we should break up. (We've been dating for 2,5y and moved in together recently) Now we sit quietly, while I'm browsing for a new room to rent. Is it a good reason to break up? He actually agrees with those guys and use their arguments later.
