Yes, I watched the confirmation hearing. In essence, she said, "If it were settled law, we wouldn't still be arguing about it." Perhaps it would have been better had I said, "The Supreme Court doesn't like to change the law once they make a decision." Yes, it happens (see Plessy v Ferguson) but it doesn't happen that often. I think this is scaremongering over nothing.

You can identify these types of time-wasters early on, like before you ever meet. If you meet a guy on OLD, and he "spontaneously" invites you out that same night (red flag) and then you (of course) refuse, saying that you're already busy, and he doesn't make plans for a future time, then he's a time waster. These types will continue to breadcrumb you for attention, but will never make plans unless he's bored and has nothing better to do the night of. Just block these dudes; they will never plan…

"Gimme gimme." LOL. He implies that she is greedy when all she's asking for is the bare minimum that a man have a job and his own place. He should not be dating until he can at least put a roof over his own head. He's got a daughter to care for, and even that isn't enough to motivate him to work. This man belongs to the streets.

A couple times a week, if we're dating exclusively. If he wants more of my time, he needs to put a ring on it. I'm not committing more time to a man who's not committing to me.

"You know, I've been thinking about this, and I think that this relationship is missing the spark that I need. I've enjoyed getting to know you, and I wish you all the best." I just sent the guy I was dating on his way with this; same issue as OP -- no spark. He was a sweet guy and a perfect gentlemen, just not very interesting and the relationship lacked the intellectual spark that I need.

Great. Get him a card. 😉
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 03:07 PM

Nothing, unless you're in a committed relationship with him. He should be courting you, not the other way round.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 03:06 PM

OP, please read the sidebar before posting. This sub is about HVW finding HVM, not how to get a man with whom you've displayed LVW behavior to call you for a date. 🙄

Gawd, where did this trash come from. Racist much, men with preferences? These men are ridiculous.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 03:21 AM
7

I just want to date men my own age, and the men on these sites apparently have their age preference set to not their own age, but 10 to 20 years younger. So I end up getting hit on by men in their 60s and 70s. Yet when I go out IRL, men in their 30s hit on me. It's maddening.

Hey, girl, if this is working for you, then no judgment from me. I think your strategy is very sound. You're not gonna get emotionally attached, because he has a bleh personality, and he's taking the edge off and is zero maintenance. That sounds like a win to me!

I so agree. I think the intent of the app was good, to prevent women being bombarded by LVM in whom they weren't interested, but now we waste time messaging LVM who never reply. I'm out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 03:04 AM
13

No, it doesn't! Yes, we have to initiate, but no, you should not ask them out or plan the date. Bumble men are super-lazy; I stopped using the app for that reason. They would send several messages and then ghost. It just wasn't going anywhere.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 12:18 AM
10

I hear you, and I'll say that my experience has been that they all do it... Don't think I'm not cringing about the lying, sis. I'm viewing it rather as a social experiment. Truth doesn't work, let's see if lying is better. I'll give a full report when I figure it out.

It depends on the state, but judges also have the right to be equitable when distributing assets, which means that he may be able to keep his little windfall, but get less of the community assets.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 12:08 AM

I used to have this exact same attitude, and all it got me was dates with men who were lying about their age by at least 5 years, mostly a lot more. Fuck that. Now I do the same thing that they do: Lie about my age. I look great; why should it matter?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/20 11:47 PM
4

I used to be scrupulously honest in my dating profiles, and it got me dozens of propositions from old men in their 60s and 70s, all of whom were lying their asses off about their age online, usually by at least 10 years, and posted old photos. When confronted, they would say that they didn't want to date women their own age, because women their own age looked "old." As if they didn't as well, OMG. Anyway, I decided recently that, fuck it, being scrupulously honest with men who were being dishone…

Imagine his shock and surprise when he finds out that little "windfall" will have to be shared 50/50 with his wife.

Nope, you're not hallucinating...LVM are everywhere. There is no HVM shortcut; you gotta find them in the wild, usually doing something that HVM do. Get out there, network professionally, date, join a club for an activity that you enjoy. You'll bump into somebody.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/20 04:02 PM
52

Totally! Males mad because even a 50-something woman -- who, according to them ought to be "desperate" for male attention -- wouldn't give them the time of day. An attractive women would literally rather be happily single and unbothered than deal with a LVM. It drives them INSANE.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/20 04:01 PM
13

I met the man I'm dating at a Christmas party for a historic preservation charity. I'd add another man to the rotation if I could find another worthy man, but....Sadly, LVM are plentiful, and HVM scarce. But I have 2 more dates this week with new men (so much for "The Wall;" I'm pushing 50 and these men are both 5+ years younger than me), so maybe I'll see where either of those go. But you'll have better luck meeting nice men IRL than online, I've found. Live your life, go out, be social.

Dallas is chock full of LVM and associated fuckboys. They come in all ages, shapes, and sizes. Women here give it up so easily that the men feel like they don't need to make an effort at all. Actually, I think the men are like this everywhere now. Prove me wrong, please, ladies.

This. My ex emotionally neglected me, financially abused me, and criticized me about anything I tried to do for him, and then wondered why I didn't want sex with him. You can't emotionally starve your partner and then wonder why she's not hot for you.

I wouldn't even bother work those pickup artist sites for "intel." Keep your standards high, and you'll weed out the fuckboys. Who cares what their "game" is? They apparently think our standards are just for play, and that we're gonna accept less. Maybe some girls will, but not the girls who subscribe to FDS philosophy.

I have a policy of chasing no one, not friends, not dates. The people in my life WANT to spend time with me, and we each express enthusiasm for spending time together. And never chase men. My job as a woman is to reciprocate his interest, not to chase, convince, ask, or persuade. If I have to do that, he's not into me. Next!

Average Fuckboy: This is your typical low IQ, badly raised male who will do and say anything to get you in to bed and cares little to nothing about you. Not always true. My last fuckboy was Ivy-league educated. It didn't make him any less of a user fuckboy.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/01/20 03:41 PM

Do. Not. Do. This. First off, why the need to "confess?" Tell your therapist, your best girlfriend, or one of those websites where people confess their secret shame. Ask yourself what need sharing with him is serving for you. If you want to bond with him, this is not the way. Women bond by sharing secrets, men do not. Men use secrets to get an advantage over others. Men bond via sex. If you're sexing him, there's your bond. But NO GOOD AT ALL, EVER will come from dishing about your sexual past. …

I love this post! I think it's important to stop competing with other women, and support each other instead. Men actively foster this competition among women for male attention to keep us separate and distracted. I love to support and compliment other women, especially when I'm around men. It lets them know that I don't see other women as a threat, you can't play me by comparing me to other women, every woman can be gorgeous and talented without tearing down another woman.

Even in big cities these aforementioned apps are a dating wasteland. Bumble will keep you endlessly messaging with loser men who want either to fuck straight away or want a pen pal. Cut them off (" it's been nice chatting, but I'm not seeking a pen pal, so this will be my last message here" and then delete them if their next message isn't about getting on the phone or meeting up) and Hinge and Coffee Meets Bagel are mostly fake profiles. I should've dumped his ass right then, but continued to date him for a couple more years until his behavior got progressively worse and I dumped his ass. Don't even put up with this shit. He complains ONCE, dump him.

You express your displeasure by either 1) asking for what you want "May I have that seat? It's uncomfortable trying to stand in heels on a moving bus" and then you block him and don't see him again after that date is over. or 2) if he is continually late for phone calls, or persistently rude, just block him and move on. If a man does not get back to me within 24 hours of him asking me for a date (because, for example, he needs to make reservations or something) I assume that we are off, and I make other plans. Even if I don't have other plans, I "have other plans." "I didn't hear back from you so I made other plans. Perhaps another time." My experience is the same. If you're looking for men in their 40s and older, OLD is a waste of time. You may find men that think they are "all that," but they are reluctant to commit to anything because they have this illusion of choice. They aren't like younger men, they've already had their kids, so they're not looking for a woman to start a family with; they're just looking to use women for a good time. Additionally, they all seem to have an inflated idea about what they can get online; many …

I just got off all the online dating sites after 5+ years of trying to find a man who meets my standards. Honestly, OLD is where men who want to put forth very little effort go to find women, mostly for sex -- but of course they lie their asses off and say that they want a relationship. I think you're better off finding a man IRL, by going to events and socializing out with your friends. I found OLD to be an utter waste of time.

If what you desire is a relationship with a HVM, you need to make him wait. With love, you need to take a deep breath and ask yourself why you're engaging in this behavior. What need is it fulfilling for you? You may want to focus on yourself for awhile and figure that out before you try to date.

Realistically, most men are not as tidy as most women, so you'll likely want things cleaner and have your own way of doing things. Make him pay for a housekeeper if you don't want to do it. I'm not advocating for the idea that anyone should clean their own house, I'm just being realistic here.

Okay, I think you did mess up. I would've let him hang at my house while I kept my plans with my date. Here's what I would do: Apologize to your date, and tell him what happened. "I'm really sorry about NYE. It was unfair of me to break our plans, and I feel like I made the wrong decision because I was stressed about my friend's well-being, and I didn't consider the alternatives. I wish that I had just let him chill at my house and kept my plans with you. If something similar comes up in the fut…

Hell, no, I'm not living with a man to whom I am not engaged to be married with a wedding date set, a ring on my finger, and the wedding expenses paid for so that he's not going to string me along by moving back the date. He also needs to be paying for ALL the household expenses. If he can't or won't do these things, I am content to remain on my own, run my own household, and be accountable only to myself. If marriage is your goal, do not live with a man, ladies, unless you have a ring on your f…

Ladies, beware the "entrepreneurs." I've had several of these types actually score a first date with me by claiming to be "entrepreneurs." Guy #1 was a man who was in the country on a visa, and the visa didn't allow him to work. So he was working off the books for a friend who had a construction company, doing odd jobs. That was his definition of an "entrepreneur." Guy #2 was a man who started his own company, but it didn't work out, so now he's officially seeking employment and interviewing for…

So true. The man with whom I spent NYE told me when I commented on our height difference (I'm 5'1", he's 6'3") "God, if you were taller, you'd be even more intimidating..." and I'm just genuinely puzzled by comments like this, because I'm such a warm and supportive personality, generally. Do men think that their male friends who have their shit together are intimidating? Or are women just supposed to be empty-headed bimbos? I talk with them on the phone before I agree to meet them on a date. That way I know if they can carry on a conversation or not before I met them in real life. I've had men propose a drinks date, refuse to talk on the phone first, and also refuse to share a meal together (where he pays, of course). These sorts of men are just trying to get you drunk and fuck you. Drinks are like $12-$20 each, depending on what you order; a Thai restaurant would literally be the same price, but then you won't be …

Well, I've never had anyone offer a chain restaurant, but if a man did, then we're just not compatible. So I'd likely say, "I've had something unexpected come up, so I won't be able to go to dinner that night," and then block his number. I'm not compatible with a man who likes Olive Garden. I used to be like this, too. Then I started "leaning back," and dating became a lot less frustrating. It's a lot easier to vet a man when you're letting him do what he's inclined to do. Then decide if you want to live with that or not. If the answer is no, just move on. Easy.

He needs to come to your neighborhood for the date. If his interest is genuine, he will make the date at a place that is convenient and comfortable for you. I would avoid meeting men in a park or anyplace that is secluded, as this puts you in danger. We have to train them. "I'm available for dinner on Wednesday." If he tries to get you to plan, respond, "I'm a little old-fashioned, and I prefer when men lead." Two things that you get when you do this: You get to see what kind of man he is. Does he make nice plans at a nice (nice does not equal expensive) place that shows some creativity, or does he go the chain restaurant route? You get to see if he takes the ball and runs with it. "Dating fatigue" is real. I just deleted all my dating profiles, and am enjoying the peace. I think OLD sites are chock-full of lazy, LVM who use them to "order in" sex and relationships. They know that the women on the OLD sites are looking, so they don't have to muster up the courage to approach in person. I've decided to ditch them and meet men in real life.

When men do this shit, I find it infuriating. You're the man; step up and plan the date. This is lazy, LVM behavior on full display right here. I had a man do this last week. For some reason, he couldn't say: "How about dinner on Thursday?" He texted, "Great, let me know when you are available." I rolled my eyes and replied, "I'm available Xday and Yday." He said, "Great, let me know where you want to go." I replied, "I prefer that you lead." But honestly? I can already tell from our interaction…

I totally agree. I refuse to bail him out and make the plans. I would literally rather spend NYE at home, alone, than "be the man" in the relationship.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 11:24 PM
30

I'm not sure that was his plan; I think it was more a consequence of waiting until the last damned minute to make plans. If he wants to continue to see me, he's going to have to level up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 11:23 PM
29

And this is a "no" for me. At work, I'm very "executive," and I refuse to take that role in my romantic relationships. If you want to be the man, then act like one; if I have to run everything, then what do I need him for?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 11:22 PM
31

I'm not sure it's a "trust" issue, but now that this is on my radar, I'll be watching for more examples of this. I refuse to ask a man to change his behavior for me, but I do observe his and then decide if it's something I want to continue dealing with. My tolerance for this sort of behavior is very low. If it continues, I will decline to see him. I'm definitely bringing more to the table than he is.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 11:21 PM
25

If they ask you out again, just politely decline. "No, thanks; I have plans." "I've enjoyed you, and I don't think we should continue to see each other." "No, thanks; I'm taking a break from dating to focus on work/other things/my social life." "No thanks, I've decided not to date right now."

I accepted the date for dinner. When he told me he was having trouble, I said, "Last time I checked, this place has availability," and sent him the link. He asked me to make reservations, and I said (we were texting) "I sent you the link." Now he's just texted to say that he's found us a place at a nicer restaurant that I prefer. We just have to expect more, ladies. Had I made the reservations, he would've stopped trying, and I'd be eating at the bar in a nice but not posh restaurant for NYE. No…

I agree with this. I'm waiting for exclusivity, and if he's not asking about that within a couple of months, then I'll remove him from the rotation. I'm definitely not sleeping with anyone who is sleeping with other people, and I'm also not waiting for marriage. I'll sleep with him if and when he wants to be exclusive, and if I think he's someone I would like to see exclusively.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 08:09 PM

If he's not seeing me exclusively, it's none of his business what I do. If he wants to be that involved in my life, he can put a ring on it. Otherwise, I'm keeping my options open.

Save up first/last/deposit for an apartment, and then continue to grow your online biz whilst working from home with the kids. You can do this. Affiliate marketing is one avenue you might consider.

Ignore him and walk away. If you don't feel like walking away because it's socially awkward with others present, do the necessary social minimum that you would do with anyone else you dislike, and completely ignore him otherwise. No drama, just let it be.

Forget about "showing him," men never learn except by their own fuckups. Focus on you. You don't GET your power back, Sis, you TAKE it back. YOU get to decide who to let into your life, not anyone else. We've ALL been there. It's up to you to stop this nonsense and completely excise him from your life. This means block and delete from your phone, block on all social media. Stop being so hard on yourself, but also realize that you created this. That means you can destroy it too. The good news is …

"Hang out???" Ladies, an invitation to "hang out" is what LVM offer when they want sex without the trouble of taking you on a real date. Whenever I'm offered the "opportunity" (eyeroll) to "hang out," my response is, "Sorry, I don't "hang out," I meet men for dinner dates." Then see what he offers. This weeds out the LVM. Be ruthless. Oh, you must quit the cigarettes! They will ruin your skin. Be sure to wear sunscreen DAILY -- even if you're not going in the sun -- on your face, neck, decolettage, and backs of your hands. 25 is not old. I'm nearly twice your age, and I'm not old. Honestly? I'm 'way hotter at 49 than I ever was at 29, as well as more self-confident. DO NOT FEAR THE WALL. IT DOESN'T EXIST. That's just a trope invented by men to make us lower our standards to accept sub-par treatment from men who peddle tales of scarcity and lack. Men do NOT get better with age, but we do. Eat well, get quality sleep, don't smoke or drink to excess, and wear sunscreen. Eat a low-sugar diet. By the time 50 rolls around, you'll still look fabulous.

Screen them on the phone, and ask them, "Is there anything in your online bio that isn't true?" and then wait silently for the answer. He'll know he's been had. Lying about age is VERY common.

Go read the sidebar. Sounds like this sub isn't for you. 🤷‍♀️

Such low standards repulse HVM. Who would want to be with a woman who states an intention to f*ck every man who politely hold the door.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/12/19 12:24 AM
4

Ugh. I wouldn't put this past him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/12/19 12:17 AM

I'm sure... Y'all mods get a front seat to the "shitty men show..." 😳🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 09:03 PM

I just deleted all my online dating apps. I'm through with the trash men on these sites. Going to work on getting even more fit, and on my hobbies. Throwing more dinner parties, making even more money.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 09:00 PM
4

Easy. Tell him you'll be needing your own room. Problem solved.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:57 PM

I don't accept Dutch dates, nor should anyone. If a man can't afford to pay, then he should be working on himself, not dating. He can't afford to date a woman.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:54 PM

You're so much nicer than I am! 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:52 PM

Yes, ffs.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:51 PM

Did you not read the sidebar?? The ethos of this sub is that men pay for dates. For the first date. For every subsequent date. Sis, this isn't a question that you should even be posting here. Please read the sidebar; it's there for a reason.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:51 PM

I agree. If you aren't faithful, you can't expect your partner to be. He lost his right to expect fidelity when he cheated.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 08:48 PM

When I met my now ex-hubs, he was an attorney. He had a mattress on the floor. That only changed after I moved in.

You mean "Man-ver," hahahaha!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 06:32 PM

That is just gross. I wish I didn't know this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 06:13 PM
9

That's disgusting. I always refuse. "You can see my most recent photos on my profile." And NEVER send racy photos, ladies. You never know where those are going to show up later.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 06:12 PM
13

Yup. And shaming the rest of us for daring to " throw other women (Pickmeshas) under the bus" when we criticize Desperate Debbie or Pickmesha behavior. I actually was called a misogynist yesterday by one of these women. Pickmeshas are the reason so many shitty men exist. If all women had high standards, then crappy male behavior wouldn't be the norm. Pickmesha behavior makes it hard for every woman to find a good man. Go ahead, Pickmeshas, downvote this comment; IDGAF. 🔥🔥🔥

Don't we already see all of their shit over at r/theredpill?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 01:06 PM

I don't see women lashing out at all; are we even on the same sub? I see mostly newbies coming here asking if they should lash out, and the regular posters here saying, " Keep your dignity, block him, delete and walk away." And I agree, why argue? He obviously doesn't know how to behave in a relationship, and can't be trusted. Dump him and move on.

I'd love to read the original thread, is there a NP link somewhere that I missed?

Why do they have an obsession with pics? He's asking for clean pics. I understand why they want dirty ones, but this guy's asking for clean ones.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 05:17 AM

Proof of male depravity, right here. She's treating him right, and still he strays. He obviously has zero respect for her. She obviously has zero respect for herself, if she's still with him. I hope she dumps his ass.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 03:40 AM
30

I'm speechless. This is victim blaming; women should submit to every male sexual desire, and if we don't, then it's our fault that men rape. I think men should just hand over their wallets/houses/cars to prevent women bashing them over the heads and taking them. #logic
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 03:37 AM

I know so many smart, accomplished, kind, beautiful single women who would rather be single than put up with the mess that passes for men these days. Why is it that men can't seem to get it together?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 03:33 AM
19

I feel like with OLD men, I have to do so much work to have a conversation with them. They literally will ask, "How's your day?" for a straight week, with zero effort to get to know you or have a more meaningful conversation. I cut them off after a couple days if they haven't made an effort to ask me out or speak on the phone. They'll be lazy during the entire relationship.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 01:20 AM

OMG, I thought I was the only one who did a sarcastic, out loud running commentary while swiping on these crazy men. 😆
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/19 01:14 AM

You can't trust them, they will lie. And condoms protect from many STDs. Use them!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/19 09:18 PM

MEN LIE SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE SEX RAW WITH YOU. MAKE HIM USE A CONDOM, EVERY TIME.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/19 09:10 PM

Based on my experience, I'd say that you are right on both accounts. I think that the preference among American women was for the man to share her religious beliefs (or lack of religious belief). Shared values, basically. Which I think just makes it easier. I'm Catholic, but would date a man of any faith, but won't date an atheist. I've tried, and they just seem cynical and angry, but everyone is different...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/19 07:27 PM

The most important trait among women worldwide is kindness. Money and it's importance varied among cultures, with cultures that provide more financial benefits placing a lesser importance on a man's financial status, likely because of the societal safety net. Proof that men just have to be decent humans to get a partner. Level up, men!

A woman who is leveling up wouldn't even bother with these men, Sis. Being a HVW isn't about merely socio-economic class, only YOU are saying that. Stop with the drama; it's rachet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/19 02:12 PM
3

Yeah, it bothers the ones who haven't yet leveled up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/19 02:09 PM

Low-class, trashy, loud, poorly dressed, looks cheap. I think of "ratchet" as being "trailer trash."

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/12/19 10:03 PM

Seriously, who cares? There is no “strategy.” We simply don’t give men who don’t treat us with respect and kindness the time of day. It’s easy to discover which men are genuine, because we’re not giving up sex right away;we’re making them wait weeks or months. Wanna play games, men? That’s fine. You can pump and dump us AFTER you’ve waited for months, bought us lots of meals and been attentive to our needs. You won’t want to wait us out, though, unless you’re genuine in your intentions. That thread is full of male passivity and female enablers. I guess if the women like being the men, they can continue running the relationship. 🤷‍♀️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/12/19 03:49 AM

Notice how in that thread he claims he likes "damaged" women because they have interesting stories. Ladies, these men get off on your trauma. Don't tell them about it. Share your trauma with your girlfriends or your therapist, not with men. They ALWAYS use it against you. If a man finds out you tolerated abuse in your previous relationships, he'll try to do the same to you. I've had seemingly"nice" men turn into sadists after I shared reasons why I broke it off with a previous man, and use those…

Oh, yes, absolutely tell the wife/fiance. She deserves to know. And OP is absolutely NOT the only one this guy is cheating with. They're always on the prowl.

If you have to tell people you're high value, you ain't.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 01:01 PM

Yeah, they like the high-maintenance look, but women who look like that and want money to maintain it are derided as "gold-diggers." These men like the looks, but don't want to pay to help maintain the look that they so desire. They want it for free, and to make us pay for it. And what are we getting out of such a relationship?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 05:05 AM

Lists his age as 55, then says in the bio text that he's 60, but he's really 71. But he's an honest guy, just ask him! Okay, Boomer! 😆

HVM don't care about money. The pornsick men who have to get off with a sex doll are such losers that they have to add "her money" to the fantasy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 02:38 AM
20

From the article: "After years of study, Barr has come to conclude that pornography could cause consumers to struggle with their impulses and emotions, possibly leading to compulsive behaviour with adults degrading into a childish state. “It’s somewhat paradoxical that adult entertainment may revert our brain wiring to a more juvenile state”, she said adding: “The much greater irony is that while porn promises to satisfy and provide sexual gratification, it delivers the opposite”."
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/11/19 01:47 AM
20

WTF. He actually posted about his perverse porn injury? That's a new kind of shameless stupid. Men are savages.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/19 06:19 AM
12

Girl, you so articulately and succinctly explained the ethos of this sub. I'm proud to know you. LVM literally have zero to offer, that's why they want this sub to go away, because we're OUTING THEM. I'm DONE with low-value men. The moment I discover he's low-value -- and it's trivially easy to suss out -- I delete and block. They get zero attention from me. I'm only interested in spending time with men that can make my life better. I KNOW I'm gonna make his life better, so I want the same.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/11/19 01:56 AM
20

I'd kick him out. If he's got such poor judgement that he thinks jerking himself in front of porn is acceptable behavior with a sleeping 6 year old in the room, he's not fit to be around kids unsupervised. I know you're relying upon him for certain things right now, but your daughter deserves to be safe. You'll figure it out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/11/19 09:09 PM
42

Anyone who would advocate for the quarentine of this sub is a misogynist. We advocate respecting ourselves and walking away from any man who won't treat us with respect, kindness, and generosity. HVM get it; LVM do not.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/11/19 08:57 PM
10

Do you want to be a backup plan? Just delete and block.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 05:59 PM

Anytime these guys over 60 day"strong, independent woman," what they are really saying is that they want us to spend our own money while sleeping with a man who is at least 15 years older than we are. Hell, no. If I gotta pay my own bills, I'm gonna do whatever I choose. If I have to be the man, what do I need him for?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 05:48 PM

"I demand that you give chase and be a Pickmesha!" What a fucking diva. This is not a man; this is a girl in pants.

QUEEN SHIT! 🔥🔥🔥
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 05:39 PM

Naw, bruh. You can schedule our date and pay for it. How 'bout dat?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 02:53 AM
44

Not defending him,but Sis, keep it light and sassy on the texts. You seem insecure. We know that most of the time, it's not a match, but we still put our game face on and keep our mind open to the possibility of meeting someone nice. You're the prize, Sis; act like it. Of course he's gonna love you!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/19 02:49 AM
24

I'd dump his ass. He's contributing literally nothing, and making more work for her.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 08:46 PM
8

Men go after what they want, period. If he's not going after you, he's not into you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 08:42 PM
23

He's lukewarm. Possibly a game player.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 04:12 PM
66

Disagree. If a man is into you, he will contact you. If he doesn't, then you're one of many options or plates he's currently spinning, or he just isn't into you and wants to let you down easy. He knows you are there. If a man doesn't contact you, it means he doesn't want to. Let it go.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 04:04 PM
6

I would dump any man who did the hot and cold act. Or just add more men 8nto your dating rotation and don't get attached to any of them. Problem solved.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 04:01 PM
26

This is why you BLOCK him, ladies. Look, your fuckboy is like Kryptonite, and his cock keeps you hypnotized even though you know the Kryptonite is gonna kill you. When you are finally done with the fuckboy, and eager to claim the love you DESERVE with a HVM who adores you, delete and block all fuckboys. They never change, and their illusory availability will prevent you from appropriately bonding with the right man.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/11/19 03:53 AM
70

Girl, delete and block him. You are now "pining," he doesn't feel the same, and you need to stop this nonsense now. This is your brain on drugs-- the drug is oxytocin, the bonding hormone. You need to get off the drugs. Just say no. Delete him, do not ever contact him again, and stop ruminating over your feelings about your fake-ass, fantasy weekend. It's literally not real. You wish things were different, I know. But they aren't. Chin up, and wise up. And stop sleeping with men who are not inve…

I ask that of men all the time. I live in a huge city and don't want to date anyone who lives an hour away. Also, they might be at the airport passing through, and I want to date someone who lives in my city.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 09:52 PM
17

Oh, he's not getting the P for at least 60 days, anyway. I've completely changed the way I relate to men now. I will not be played, ever again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 07:41 PM
7

No, it most certainly not the result of some mishap, unless you count just being late a mishap. If there had been an accident, or a huge backup on the freeway, I would have understood. But he was just late. I'm done with that shit. If it's important, you arrive on time.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 07:38 PM
20

Yup, pretty much. He was cute; I imagine the Pickmeshas that he's dated before actually let him get away with that. Not this HVW. Next!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 05:22 PM
12

I said in the post. I didn't respond to his messages, and the last message that I got from him was "Here." I imagine he understood what happened when he arrived and I wasn't there.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 04:51 PM
5

Harsh, but true. Once men get the P, if they haven't waited months, and invested in you, they dump you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 03:51 PM
13

Ugh. That site is like walking naked through Walmart.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 03:47 PM
38

If you're chronically late, your life is a mess, and your need to level up, Sis. A HVW respects others, as well as herself. Being chronically late is rachet behavior. Said with love. ♥️

Men truly are savages.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 02:21 PM

I'm 5'1", and I don't date men below 5'10". I prefer men over 6'. People can lose their shit over that if they desire, but it's my life, and I'll spend it with whom I please. I don't date short men.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 02:02 PM

I wear Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, and always get compliments on it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 02:00 PM
15

WTF. Is it that they don't think we'll show up, so they figure that they're gonna make us wait after we confirm that we're actually there? I've never stood someone up for a date, but it's happened to me numerous times. I've had men confirm the night before for brunch, and then stand me up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:50 PM
30

Wait, what? Red pill men actually advocate being late for dates to see if she will wait?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:47 PM
16

I so agree. And ladies, download LastPass or 1Password for your phones to back up all your passwords and creat unique, secure ones for every site.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:45 PM

He lives on the other side of town, about a 30 min drive. Despite this, he told me at 7:44 that he was trying to get an Uber. By this time, I was already on my way there. Seriously, at best he was already going to be 15 minutes late. And then the Uber driver couldn't find his house, apparently, so it got even later. Mind you, he could have driven himself, but I guess he wanted to drink a lot? Being on time for the date that he requested apparently was less important than getting his drink on. 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:43 PM
22

Yes, apparently I didn't merit a phone call.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:38 PM
48

Well, he got his answer. Game over. This sub has toughened me up, for sure. It's great to have a place to discuss this, Soo that we can all know their games and raise our standards. No wonder the LVM that brigade here are losing their minds; now they're going to have to step up their game. We're on to them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:38 PM
31

15 minutes is my limit. After that, I'm leaving, and I'm not saying a word. Let him wonder.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:34 PM

Yes, this is what I was thinking. I always arrive on time. They're hosting, and they make their guest wait? Naw, bruh.

48

You're a savage. I love it! 🔥🔥🔥
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 01:32 PM
176

Yeah, this seems to be a theme. This isn't the first time I've showed up on time, only to be told once I've arrived that my date intends to be more than a half hour late. That's just insane. And your know that if this is his best behavior, what's going to happen when he gets comfortable? Tonight, the trash took itself out. I got dressed and did hair and makeup, and for what? He's obviously not that excited to meet me if he's gonna show up 45 minutes late.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 04:39 AM
24

Bumble is like that too. Men are so out of shape, dull, and boring. I'm ready to hand this over to Jesus. I'm wondering if I should switch teams; there seems to be a dearth of decent men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/11/19 04:34 AM

Make him tell you before the date what is planned. You need to know what to wear, right? If he's planned a hike, and you show up in heels? If he's trying to be secretive about it (I had one of these men for a while, who like to "surprise" me -- really it was just his shitty control-freak issues -- with plans that he wouldn't tell me about -- and I just called his bluff and said, "Sorry, I can't come if you won't tell me what we are doing, because I probably won't be dressed for it, and I"m just …

HVW look out for each other and build each other up. ♥️
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/11/19 07:36 PM

This is great advice. As a secure with slightly avoidant tendencies, I dump "clingers" right away. Their anxiety and clinginess triggers all sorts of anxiety and stress for me. I'm not going to spend time endlessly re-assuring someone that no, I'm not dating anyone else, and yes, I'm happy with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/11/19 04:16 PM
35

Jesus, Girl, those are awful. This is why I've adopted a stance of "dinner dates only" and I never offer to pay. If he's not willing to take me to dinner, he's a cheap man, and I don't date cheap men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/11/19 03:49 PM

Response ideas: "Why do you want to know? " [He tells you] Look at him, unblinking. "I see." And don't answer his question. He's gonna feel like a dick for having asked. "If you're asking if I have an STI, the answer is no. We should probably exchange test results before we're intimate, of course." "That's a rude/nosy/inappropriate question, and on principle I refuse to answer it." This is my favorite.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/11/19 02:44 AM

This is gross. And yet ANOTHER reason, ladies, why it's a bad idea to share racy/nekkid photos of yourself with anyone. You never know where they will end up.

This is exactly the issue I'm exploring. I earn a lot -- like multiples of the average household income -- and I'm thinking that I'm going to have a hard time meeting someone who earns more. So I'll keep it under wraps as much as possible...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/11/19 06:44 AM

Yeah, Sis, that's kind of what I'm feeling. I don't want to explain the vacation budget, or the mortgage, or... anything. I do what I want.

A good take-away from the article: Men that give are "invested" and will lose that investment if they decide to dump you. So the more money a man spends on you, the more likely he is to stick around.

Fair enough, but I'm using it as a way to know what his inclinations are. Will he step up and take charge? If so, he's my type of man. If not? Then I know I'm going to end up leading the relationship, and I'd rather not.

Disagree. I let him decide, and make the offer. It tells me what kind of man he is. If he offers me something cheap, I decline, delete, and move on. He's not my kind of guy. I refuse to plan dates. If he dumps it in my lap, and is unwilling to say, " Would you like to join me for dinner at (nice restaurant) on Tuesday at 6pm,?" then he'll just keep doing it, and that's not what I want.

Here's something to consider...Looking at other women on Instagram is one thing, but he's liking their photos, which is rather like winking at another woman in a public venue, and for the whole world to see. Imagine if you two were at a party, and he kept approaching other women, and saying, "I like you." That's in essence what he's doing here. Other people can see he's doing this. If you've agreed to be exclusive, then he's not acting exclusive when he's publicly flirting with other women. I th…

Sis, always lock your doors the minute you get into the car to prevent unwanted visitors. If you can, set your car to only unlock the driver door when you hit the "unlock" button on the key. Most newer cars can do this type of setting. Also set it so that when you open the driver door, the other doors stay locked.

A man who does not own a car is not someone who can afford to date. Telling someone to rethink her choices and date an established guy rather than a refugee is not shaming her for her standards, it's pointing out the obvious.

I'm 49, and super picky, so I'm having the same issue. The men my age have largely not aged well, and can't keep up with me. And I'm not lowering my standards to accommodate them. I figure that I've been single for 7 years, so I can do this indefinitely; if I were going to settle, I would've done so years ago, and gotten it over with. I adore sex with an attentive male partner. I love his energy, his presence, his body on mine. Most men in their 30s have watched to much porn to be good lovers; men in their 40s and 50s are definitely more deft lovers, more attuned to their partners. So yes, absolutely yes, I love sex with a sexy, confident, present man who is intent upon making sure I have a great time in bed.

An acquaintance in my social circle desperately desires a wife, but has said that he doesn't want to spend money courting a woman. He refuses to date because it costs money. He's wealthy and retired from investments in his 50s. And doesn't really see a wife as an investment in his happiness. All of us have long since refrained from attempting to explain to him that you have to get out and meet women to marry them, they don't just drop into your lap one morning.

Sisters, a reminder: Do not combine households with a man who won't marry you and pay all the bills. If you have to pay half the bills, and shoulder the bulk of household responsibilities, why not just maintain your own home and your own independence? Shacking up with a man benefits him, and he uses you for "domestic support" and emotional labor. In exchange for that, he should be paying the household bills. If he can't provide, and isn't willing to put a ring on your finger, then don't move in.

Men literally don't care what you do, they care how you look. I have a doctorate, and I'm purposely not discussing my work and downplaying my professional accomplishments because men have told me that I'm "intimidating," " too much," etc. These are educated, accomplished men. My advice: Choose whatever profession/trade suits you, because men don't care. Just don't discuss your success or how much you make; they like it when you make less than they do.

He'll be younger than me by at least 10 years because he doesn't know how old I am and doesn't care about anything but my looks. I'm gonna disagree with this, and say, who cares what he does? Find someone else to date on the weekends, or do something else. Don't ask men to see you, arrange your life to make yourself happy. Let him do as he pleases, and then observe who he is. Decide if you like what he's showing you. If so, continue to see him; if not, don't. There is no scarcity of men. Date who you like, keep seeing the ones you're happy to see, and stop seeing the ones that don't treat you well.

Stop giving one man so much importance. You seem needy, which is a huge turnoff for men, and will have him looking for the nearest exit. Fill up your calendar with things that make you feel good, and stop obsessing about any one man. Date 2 or 3, and stop caring what any of them does.

We're saying, "I'd like to feel like a man is genuinely interested in me as a person," and strategically weeding out those who are inviting us on minimal-investment dates to get us drunk and coerce us into sex. We're leveling up, and focusing on improving ourselves so that we can attract better-quality men. We're not blaming men for our shortcomings; we're recognizing that we need to become more to attract a better class of partner. That t…

Good lordt. Why don't they focus on improving themselves, becoming better men? I guarantee you that these men would be desirable to women with a mindset shift and an uplevel. It's as if they've completely given up, and just want to burn their lives to the ground. It's sad. But they are choosing their victim status.

Disagree completely. She should go do her own thing for awhile, and let him figure out what he wants, because he's obviously not valuing her. OP, you need a mindset shift, Sis, you've given this man much more importance in your life than you have in his, and that's why he's cancelling on you. Go do things that you like. Get a new hobby, take lessons in something that interests you. Fill up your time with stuff that makes YOU happy and fulfilled. Yes, it hurts that he's not valuing you. You can w…

Smile. Make eye contact. Give him a playful wink. Don't approach, it kills attraction. Men like to feel like they have gotten a "win," and you deny then this pleasure when you approach them.

Poly, or a swinger? To me, there's a big difference in risk exposure between those who have a relationship involving more than one other person, and those who have sex with a bunch of other people on the same night. And I'm not judging morally, I couldn't care less what others do, but I do think that swingers are risking STIs.

I've marveled at this apparent contradiction for a while now. On the one hand, they deride any woman who has sex as "riding the cock carousel." Another thing: These MGTOW groups and other "men's rights" groups deride women who have sex, and call it "riding the cock carousel," and then when women won't give them sex, they get mad. Which is it, men? Do you want women who WON'T give you sex, or do you want women who ride the cock carousel? You don't want to date a woman unless she has sex with you first, but then want a virgin who hasn't ridden the cock carousel. You can't have both. I think it's hilarious how moids have such a ridiculously high bar for what they will accept, and behave as if dating a woman their age or a little older is some sort of "settling" even when she's hot AF. Men will use a woman for a sex placeholder whilst looking for their dream girl. I know, because it's happened to me. When they find her, all their "I don't want a relationship" excuses will go out the window and they will move fast to lock her down and wife her up.

No reason to feel guilty. Men do this shit to women all the time.

Just fucking ghost this loser. You owe him nothing, and he doesn't deserve anything, especially not a blowjob, from you.

He's a "zero," all right!

Actually, that's totally my response when a man asks to be friends.

This is so true. At 4pm I declined a third date with a man who had been texting me all afternoon about how much he couldn't wait to see me again. He instantly started up with the namecalling, saying I was a liar, a fraud, had bad hygiene, and all kinds of crazy shit. Yeah, so you thought I was crazy and dirty, and that's why you were begging for another date. Uh, okay...

I went to the YouTube channel, but didn't see videos about dating, just some makeup tutorials...I'll go look again.

I know, right? Seriously, they can't even come up with something plausible. The ones that drink too much seem to age the worst; one guy had a big ol' red alcoholic nose, and told me that he was 48 -- my age. He was really 61. We were out with some of his friends, and I was talking to one woman, and she told me, "You seem like a really nice woman. You should be aware that Bob is a functioning alcoholic." Thank you, Sis, for confirming what I suspected. I declined further dates with him even thoug…

No, not at all. I make multiple 6 figures, I'm just not wanting to look like I'm alone and looking for a date. Maybe I should stick to my athletic club, but I don't want to date someone that I see in the gym every day.

^^^^This. It's none of anyone's business. I've had a crazy-active sex life before I was married and after my divorce, and I'm not sharing that number with anyone. My response if asked would be, "Oh, I was tested in August, and I'd be happy to share those results with you" (pretending that the only reason why he would ask is to ask if I'm STD-free) "When were you last tested?" There is absolutely no reason why a man needs to know, and that's quite a personal and unseemly question. It's not like t…

"Entrepreneur" can mean "unemployed." If a man will not tell me what he spends 8 hours of his day doing, then I'm not going on a date with him. I'm an attorney and I make multiple 6 figures a year; I don't need his fucking money.

Jesus, the lying about age is so beyond ridiculous. Men post these photos of themselves looking old AF, and then say, "I'm 45." We all know it's bullshit. Another fave: "I'm really 59, but I can't figure out how to change my age on this app." More bullshit, and if you're too effing stupid to figure it out, then you are too stupid to date me. I actually told one such man, "I marvel that whenever men get their age wrong, it always makes them younger but never older."

Yeah, my OLD inbox is FILLED with 70-somethings that are lying about their age and posting old photos. These men are shameless. Like I would ever fuck them, even if they could get it up.

Sis, you are so right, men are fucking delusional with this idea of what they can attract. I see guys online who are 55 and in rough shape seeking women from 30 to 45, I'm not even joking. Speechless.

I'm 49 and still hot AF, and I'm keeping my standards high. I'd rather be single than settle.

Fuck this. If he asks me out, then he pays, period. I do not pay for dates, period. If he can't pay, he is not at my level, and has no business dating me. He can go date a low-value woman.

They only want us to think we've "aged out." Fuck that. I'm 49, and still hot AF, with a 6-figure plus income and a body someone 20 years younger would die for. I date whomever I want.

I've been doing coffee dates so I can jet if I'm not feeling it. Totally changing that now. I'll speak with him on the phone, and then if he offers me a date, AND I'm interested, I'll accept. The phone call will be my screening. I'm no longer entertaining low-value men.
