This is honestly so wholesome because i study birds & other animals & i have always thought to myself, "how can these beings be so 'loving' or 'considerate', doing everything in their power to woo a potential mate while i can't even get a text back?

But then i remember their innate behavior is just to recreate lmao.

If you think about it, there are a lot of HVM behaviors which can be observed in birds. Albartross, penguins and vultures mate for life. Albatross courtship is also complicated because it requires the dance mentioned above. Also, peacocks! They have fabulous feathers to attract their mates.
