The ones who are too selfish to learn how to please you (really, it's not hard) aren't likely to wait three months or commit. It's a tactic to weed those types of men out.

Believe it or not, his personality is more important than his sex ability. A bad personality in a partner can seriously harm your well-being, but mediocre sex is still sex, and if he has a good personality, he’ll take constructive criticism. If it’s bad sex as in him being sadistic, maybe ask him what he’s into first, like a grown-up.
